Kota Japan Universal Sharpening Whetstone and Bench Stone Sharpener Holder with Adjustable No-Slip Base

I bought this to hold a Japanese water store for sharpening. This is very sturdy. Well made. Holds my water stone with no movement during the sharpening process.I would definitely buy this again and I highly recommend it.

it holds the stone at a comfortable height allowing you to easily hone the blade at whatever angle you wish, the rubber feet hold well and keep it from sliding with light - moderate pressure. never knew how much of a difference (much easier) it would make until i tried it. highly recommend at least trying it once if you use a stone

This stone holding jig has a good heft and grips well. The tightening nuts are just the right size, well knurled, and do a good job of keeping the stone in place. The only real complaint that I have is that a spot of rust has begun to form where one of the bars is embedded into one of the rubber ends. I do take the time to wipe the jig down after using spit was disappointing to see rust begin to form so early on.

Holds the sharpening stones and prevents it from sliding around your table. Looks and feels robust, can highly recommend this.

There are quite a few sellers here with holders that look just like this one, but this was the best price I could find (from Grade-A Global) on Amazon. It is much nicer and beefy than I thought it would be, and the rubber grabs the counter top very well. Since the metal is not stainless, I’m hoping to keep it in good shape by washing and drying it after every use.I have included a couple of photos to show the box it came in and also a KDS stone (8-1/8" L x 2-5/8" W) mounted in it.

I bought a whetstone to sharpen my knives manually and bought this holder to anchor and hold the whetstone. It works very well. I’m a very satisfied customer.
