Q: What are the directions for daily use?

Nothing is mentioned about daily use. Serving size is 1 teaspoon. The caution says “this food should be eaten with at least a full 8 ounce glass of liquid. Eating this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Do not eat this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. “

Q: Is this product similar to xanthan gum? If yes, then why it does not thicken anything? I tried different amount of it to thicken water but no luck.

I find that xanthan thickens much more than acacia. I use acacia to add “mouth feel” to sugar syrups for cocktails. I use xanthan to thicken and emulsify vegetable sauces and gravies. Much heavier sauces than acacia.

It's basically both. Gum Arabic has health benefits and is often used in cooking as a thickener, but also has uses in arts and crafts (like makeup-making and so on).

Q: can this be used In homemade almond milk so the milk doesn’t separate when heated ?

It should work, I’ve never tried that, but I will
