Q: How easy is it to change the direction of the snow

Very easy. Just manually move the lever. The lever is at the top of the shovel part (not the handle).

Hello Jim, we suggest using a fully matched battery from our own Voltask brand with our snow shovel, otherwise, the performance of the snow shovel will be affected or it will cause some damage to the unit. The additional batteries of this model are also available to purchase on Amazon directly. We suggest using a fully matched battery from our own Voltask brand with our snow shovel, otherwise, the performance of the snow shovel will be affected or it will cause some damage to the unit. Although the spare batteries of this snow shovel are currently unavailable to purchase, they are going to be available soon in December.
