I bought this ozone generator to try to get old soaked-in dog urine smell out of the wood floor. It worked well, but I ended up having to replace part of the floor and subfloor, it was too soaked in and the smell kept returning. That wasn't the ozone machine's fault though!It's very easy to use, but you'll definitely want whatever room it's in shut tight with a towel under the door - the smell and sound are intense!I have already used it several times to deodorize shoes, cat towers, and rooms. It's turned out to be the small appliance I never knew I needed! I love thrift sales and free curbside treasures, so I'm going to be using it all the time. It's perfect to set up in the garage!

My son left a pack of chicken in the trunk of the car I rarely drive. It sat there in the sun festering for almost a week. Outside of the car you smelled nothing. I went to get something from the car one day and when I opened it I was like “what died”! The smell was so horrible I gagged and threw up. I took everything out of the car and tossed it all! I have tried everything to get the smell out. Threw away the mats. Bleach. Odoban. Shampooed the interior and trunk. Bags of charcoal, vinegar, like EVERYTHING! And nothing was working. I bought this and put it in the car for about 45 mins. Went out to check and the smell was almost completely gone. It got dark so I could not run it any longer but will be doing it again tomorrow for about and hour and it should all be gone by then. This thing really works and at $50, you can’t beat that!Update: it took about 3hrs in the car and about 2hrs in the trunk but the smell is all gone!

We had a small flood in our camping trailer. Thankfully we caught it quick but there was a smell I couldn’t get out of my nostrils. A friend suggested to use an ozone machine and this one had good reviews. I was nervous to work it but I cleared the space of all my plants, animals and humans set the timer and turned her on. Easy peasy. There is no smell in the trailer and I feel more confident to close up the walls after using the machine.

I use this in my home and in hotels to eliminate cigarette smoke smell. Drawback is you really need to have it on if you’re smoking whatever. But works

Been looking for a generator for awhile and this unit came up on Prime day for a steal of a deal fried some bacon for breakfast and I hate the smell from fried foods that hangs around afterwards so as we left to go run chores I set the unit as per instructions for 70min came home a few hrs later to a strong “ozone” smell so I know this little unit puts out after airing out the house as recommended for a few minutes there was no fried food orders at all and my home smells so fresh and clean I definitely recommend this unit for your home or vehicle I’d not hesitate to pay the full price even if I didn’t catch the prime day deal

This unit seemed to do a great job pumping out the ozone into the room. The mechanical timer knob was a little hard to read and if you turn it too far you can't "force" it back down, you have to wait for it to count down on it's own... which it will do even if turned off, so that's good. I just set a timer on my phone, which worked great, then went into the room and turned it off.Be sure to read the instructions before using it or ANY ozone generator. You want to make sure the room or area is closed off and that no people or pets are in the room while it's running or for about an hour after. I even put a towel under the door to the room to close off the gap at the bottom.After running, there is a strong ozone smell in the room. That is normal for ALL ozone generators, so if you get a cheap one and can't smell anything after it runs... then it isn't working!I ended up opening the windows in the room for it to air out for a couple hours. Yes it is winter here, but the cold fresh air helped the smell go away faster. The first thing I noticed after most of the ozone smell was dissipated was that I could actually smell the plug-in air freshener in the room... instead of what the air freshener was trying to cover up.I read some complaints about the smell... but it dissipates and is pretty much gone by the next day. and FYI - most of the fire/flood restoration companies use ozone generators to get rid of the smells. Either a commercial version of one, or take things back at their office and put them in a sealed ozone room. So the technology does work.For the price, this one does the job.
