That is a good question. It basically depends on the seller you are purchasing from. Generally any seller that is "FULFILLED BY AMAZON" will NOT ship with any refrigeration or ice pack because the item is housed and shipped by Amazon warehouses throughout the US. Typically sellers that fulfill the items themselves can make special arrangements for shipping an item because in MOST cases, they are a smaller company that can accommodate the little things, so to speak. This is the broad assumption. The only for sure way to know is to contact the seller prior to making a purchase.
