Q: Does the pendant need to be worn by the user for the wrist device to work or do they communicate separately with ADT?

The pendants (wristbands, neck pendants, & fall detection pendants) do not communicate directly with ADT. They are paired to & send a signal to the On-the-Go device which then sends an alert to ADT if the button is pressed. The device itself has 2-way voice communication so it is recommended to always keep the On-the-Go device nearby in order for the pendant to stay within connectable range and to communicate with agents in case of emergency. Q: Can the watch be located with GPS or tracked by a phone?

The mobile device itself is what is tracked via GPS but this cannot be tracked by the customer's cell phone. An ADT monitoring agent will be able to assist customers or emergency contacts to locate the device when an emergency has occured, if the system was lost, etc.

Q: Can this be programmed to any other mobile network. Can this be used in other countries for local calling there?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately no, AT&T is the only network this works on as the SIM card built in is unique towards this provider. This device is not able to make local calls within the United States or internationally. The On-the-Go Medical Alert device is programmed to contact ADT and speak to a professional monitoring agent when the button is pressed.

Q: Can this work off if WiFi connection?

No WiFi is needed. This device works off cellular connectivity so that the user can take it anywhere with them and be protected both inside and outside of the home.
