I have an open drain (in my rented condo's shower/bath) with a silver bar sticking out in the middle of it, just a little ways down, to work a plug. But the switch to plug the drain doesn't work. So my landlord supplied a rubber plug, with a metal hook attached to the top of it, to try and solve the problem of the drain not being able to plug all the way, and that STILL doesn't work. I also have long, thin, fine hair, that sheds quite often. So, rather than let my hair clog the drain, and since I really wanted to use my bathtub on certain occasions, I bought this drain stopper. Let me tell you, it's pretty perfect for what I need it for. It goes flush against the bottom of my tub, keeping anything from being sneaky and going underneath it, the middle part catches all my hair, and the top flap folds down and stops any water from escaping, whenever I want to take a bath. The only thing is, you do need to make sure you clean this regularly, because otherwise the hair will get so stuck between the button holding it together at the top, and the drain part just below it, that you may end up just breaking the drain part, and then you end up having to buy a new one. My first one broke, and I ended up having to replace it. Luckily, this thing is pretty cheap though, so I'm not complaining. Just take care of it, and it'll take care of you.

My bathtub hasn’t had a plug for almost 8 years I think. Wasn’t much of a bath person and it disappeared. Recently though I’ve been needing baths to help me relax and help my sore muscles/ feet. So this has been absolutely perfect. Its easy to use and plugs my bathtub perfectly! Finally no more using towels to plug my tub lmao. My only problem would be the hair getting really tangled in the thing. Its a bit hard to get out, but its not that big of a deal it still catches my hair great!

I was looking for a way to solve multiple issues with my bathtub and this worked perfectly for my needs. I have an old cast iron bathtub that has a small area of discoloration around the drain, my pop-up assembly got bent and wouldnt seal to hold water in the tub, and the females in the house shed so much hair that our drains get slow. This thing was the solution to all my problems. All I had to do was remove the old pop-up piece of my drain assembly and lay stick this in the hole. It's super simple to pop it shut and fill the tub. It holds the water perfectly. The water level never drops. Its wide enough to cover up the discoloration I hate looking at, and it looks nice in the tub, not cheap or cheesy. I LOVE that it captures all the hair before it goes down the drain, and all that nasty hair stays out of view until you pick it up to clean it out so it doesn't make you grossed out to look at. It stays in place and I see it more as a permanent fixture than a temporary stop This was a solid buy that I'd recommend if you have any of the same needs.

Installation took quite a bit as I had to google multiple videos on how to remove my existing drain stopper to put this one in. After you manage that, it's as simple as dropping it on the hole. I have taken both baths and showers with this drain stopper. It does exactly what intended, catches my very long hair that never ceases shedding and stops the water from draining when taking a bath. However, the stopper does not sit low enough to allow all of the water to drain. After use, I have to remove the stopper to allow all of it to drain. There's enough water left behind that it makes even me, a very lazy person, reluctant to let that much water sit in my tub.

I purchased this product for my bathroom shower. I dont know how my bathroom drain worked before I got this! It is easy to clean out, easy to clean the actual material, easy to change into "bath" mode. If I had 2 bathrooms I would get this for the other. This saves me time of trying to clean the drain out, so much faster.

This drain cover/plug works so wonderfully! It fits my standard tub drain, catches all the hair and keeps it from clogging the drain as well as holds water in the tub without leaking! It has held up well so far and for the price you can’t beat it!

Product werkt goed en werkt als badstop zelfs beter dan onze ouderwetse zwarte stop. Pakt haren tijdens het douchen, werkt als badstop, kan het iedereen aanraden! Het enige waar je even op moet letten is dat je na het douchen de stop even optilt zodat ook het laatste beetje water kan weglopen. Anders sta je de volgende dag in een koud plasje water.
