I have used 3% retinol serum combined with bakuchiol oil serum for a while for my 36-year-old skin. I introduced retinol as a precious anti-ageing product in my skincare routine probably a year ago. While retinol helps with ageing skin, it also supports skin cell turnover, resurfaces and restores texture, and, more importantly, helps with acne scars and hyperpigmentation. I have aggressive acne in my early 30s, and I am still struggling with some scarring around my mouth and jawline. Due to its high retinol and Niacinamide percentage of 5% and the Mulberry extract, this serum targets scaring and hyperpigmentation.The packaging looks like a ray of sunshine 😊, yellow and white. The serum is relatively tiny at 30 ml, but it is not meant to be used daily, only two or three times per week. Although a serum, it has a more light and creamy consistency than a regular runny serum. Moreover, it smells divine when applied to the skin. Due to its consistency, it glides over the skin and absorbs very well. I found that you only need a tiny quantity to cover your entire face if necessary. I have used it in the evening, as recommended, after my cleaning and toning regimen. I have not used my other retinol serum whilst using Clear Skin. However, I still applied my regular bakuchiol oil and rosehip oil after the retinol serum was absorbed into the skin. I have used it several times since ordering it, and I am happy with the results. My skin does indeed look brighter and softer. I did not expect miracles from this little tub, so my scars remain. I will continue using it, and hopefully, I will be able to comment later on its efficacy in targeting scaring. I am sure the serum will last a while due to its consistency and only two to three weekly applications. Overall, I am pleased with this retinol serum, as it is an excellent addition to my evening skincare routine!

Not impressed. Doesn't get rid of dark spots and my face feels dry after use

This was a really good serum,i have tried many retinols and this one was the only one that didn t break me up, and really works for my skin type,oily acne prone skin. The bonus is the niacinamide added👌

Despite the fact that this retinol serum brightens my face significantly, it also makes me break out in pimples. I believe this is because it contains both retinol and niacinamide, therefore it is not suitable for people with sensitive skin.
