Q: How do they stand up on the stick if you are not using helium?

We blew ours up they lasted about 24 hours then started losing air they looked great while they lasted they did stand up you have to pull on them to stretch them so they’ll hold more air they can get big.

Q: Can these be floated in water??

No, The lights are on the outside of the balloon as are the battery packs that power them.
