Very bright. It has spot light, floodlight, or both at the same time. Floodlight will light up a room.

Decided on this beautiful ray of sunshine after seeing it being used on a episode of The Hunting Public. They used it as a tracking tool to help find a buck during archery season. Being the buck hunter I am and having up till now used headlamps and lanterns I thought wow ..this is a much needed piece of equipment. It arrived well packaged and there was no assembly required. Popped in a fresh charged battery and waited till dark to testout. I could not belive my eyes. This thing is flood mode created a perfect circle of bright white light. While shining downward the circle was close to 8 feet in diameter and BRIGHT. I pivoted the head upward and pushed the button to spot light mode...all I can say is WOW!! This thing shot a beam of light (not as white) over 200 yds out into the neighborhood. I quickly shut it off and was astounded at how bright it actually was. Though we did not have to track a buck after dark this season I have 0 doubts that when the time comes it will be a great light for the job.

This light is very powerful! The reason I only gave 4 stars is because I had to buy batteries separate and charger separate. Gotta have all of those to make this work. Costly.

I have owned this tool for over a year easily. I have also gifted one. I am a demolition worker who sees a lot of different type of work. This light is bright as hell. Very wide range. I can light up an entire room easily depending on the size. The spot light seems to go on forever and still maintain is brightness. It's not a yellow light, like some said in a review. You can easily tell what color you are looking at with the light. It's very easy to use, very versatile, and durable. This little light has drawn a lot of attention on jobs and comes in handy more than I can describe. It will use your batteries semi quickly but I have not had any progress with that. I own 3 other Milwaukee lights. They all have different purposes but I can easily say, they're limited situations this won't work for. HIGHLY recommended for the price point.
