Q: What are some pros and cons of this case?

PRO: * No cutout on the back of the case for people to admire the Apple logo and infer your immense wealth and exquisite taste. * Stiff rubber flap covering the ringer switch -- both a pro and a con. * Buttons are easy to press. * Good grip in the hand. * Both screen and camera surrounded by protective rubber lip. CON: * The screen protector is gratuitous and awful. It increases glare, reduces contrast, and provides excellent fingerprint samples if you're dusting for some. It's also hard to get on without smudging or trapping hairs or other debris between the plastic and glass. TIP: wear cotton gloves. * Stiff rubber flap covering the ringer switch -- both a pro and a con. * Stiff rubber flap covering the charging port. i am askeered that the pressure of the flap will warp the connector over time. The moment i suspect this is even starting to happen I will cut it off with an X-acto knife. * Belt clip is pointless, at least for me. All i care about is making a slippery phone hard to drop, and protect it from impact when it does. NET: * I prefer 2 piece (shell-gel) cases because I believe they dampen and dissipate force better, but this case is an excellent value for $20. * Would buy again

No problems @ all! It works great!

Q: Does it work for the new iPhone XS?

It fits the phone, but covers up the speaker and microphone. It was made for the iPhone X, not the XS.

Q: Would a finger ring holder fit this case?

It should. The middle bump is a little narrow, so it may overlap the edge a little, but it should work.
