Q: Physical size of the internal m.2 ssd(2242, 2260 or 2280)? and is upgradable to 512 gb?

Hi, Thanks for your interest in KAMRUI's newly released AK1 PRO MINI COMPUTER . KAMRUI mini pc comes with 256GB M.2 2280 SSD and supports an upgrade to 512GB. However, if you replace 512GB M.2 2280 SSD, you should reinstall the windows system. If you have any questions on this issue, please contact the KAMRUI customer service team. Q: I'd like to add 2tb hard drive space. what can i do to operate it?

Hi, Thanks for your interest in KAMRUI's AK1 PRO Mini PC N5105. KAMRUI Mini Computer has three ways to expand the storage as below: 1. Fit SATA SSD to the SATA slot inside the main unit, this way you can choose to clone the preinstalled Win 11 into the SSD; 2. It's expandable with the addition of up to 2 TB of 2.5 inch SSD or HDD fitted in the base expansion box. 3. The mini pc is designed with 4 USB ports which you can add USB flash drives or external hard drives to expand the storage. This video will help you how to add a 2.5-inch SSD on the mini pc, please check and confirm it. Q: what height of 2.5" HDD fits in the case? can it accomodate a 15mm height?

Checked the HHD cavity depth - max 11mm as per attached video. (so will fit standard 9.5mm and slim 7mm drives, but not 'enterprise' grade 15mm drives) I reckon the 15mm drive may well fit if the cover is left off - as a temporary arrange to recover drive data, for example. Trust this helps!
