Q: The mg 300 had a ton of problems, more than i can list! Did nux fix thes problems?

I have not had problems with it. I use it every weekend playing in a band. Sounds pretty good through my 50 watt tube amp.

Q: I'm new to the multi effects/ amp modeler world. Does this unit have a tuner with mute option? Does it have a decent tube screamer type overdrive?

Yes. And Yes. The tuner is pretty good. I haven’t had any issues with it. There’s a straightforward TS OD that sounds pretty good. You can also put the EQ block in front or behind it to sculpt the tone a little more. I gig with this unit weekly, and it holds up really well in the mix.
