Q: Can this be adjusted to fit a 6 panel solid bifold door which is much thinner than a traditional door, especially in the panel section?

You can cut part of the plastic (where the two pieces fit together) to fit skinnier doors. Its not the easiest to do- but it can be done

Q: Can you remove the door?

Yeah you can. I actually had to because I messed up the hole for the door knob and had to replace the door so it’s just a reverse process. I ended up getting bolt and nut combo the same diameter as the screws they give you. But a $5 pack of them saved me a ton of frustration trying to use the screw it comes with.

Q: Can you install this in a wall instead of a door?

I don’t believe so, the thickness of the wall will keep the cat door from snapping together properly.
