BRIKSMAX Led Lighting Kit for LEGO-75313 at-at - Compatible with Lego Star Wars Building Blocks Model- Not Include The Lego Set

My hubby is a Lego maniac. He recently built the 75313 AT-AT, and for his birthday I got him a beautiful display case and this lighting kit. He installed the kit yesterday and I asked him how he would rate it. He gave it a solid 5, the only thing that he had an issue with is that the instructions sometimes were a bit tedious. My husband works as a repair tech on medial lab equipment and he is used to working with wiring stuff so he didn't have any real problems installing this kit. The instructions were all pictures, and he felt that it was slightly confusing to him because some of the pictures seemed unnecessary. All in all, it is a great kit and looks awesome. I'll get a pic the next time he turns it on and add it to this review.

I'm sure it would look awesome all lit up, but the instructions are horrible and vague. I got so frustrated trying to install the set I actually just took everything out and boxed it back up. Can't and won't recommend this set for anyone.

---------Update----------- After several hours, I was finally able to get the light kit installed. The materials are good quality and do need to be handled with care. The final installation looked as advertised. After initially being frustrated with the instructions, I updated my review. A YouTube video would have been helpful. Better instructions would have made this a 5 star review. The best product with shoddy directions can detract from the desire to support the product. -------Original 1 star review ------- Instructions are very poorly made. The pictures are not clear enough to be confident where the wires are to be strung. Specifically, instructions steps 37-40 and 61-67 (so far) are useless even with the arrows and little figures describing what is supposed to be done. It is extremely unclear when wires are pulled aside for the picture and how they are supposed to be routed. Light-My-Bricks looks to have much clearer instructions. I really wish I had spent the extra money and went that route instead of spending hours (unsuccessfully) trying to figure out the vague instructions with this waste of money.

The instructions are terrible. You can't see where you're supposed to put the wiring.

My son purchased these as a cool addition to his Lego AT AT walker that he built last year. He was able to get through a few steps but then found the instructions too difficult to follow after that. There are no words, and the pictures made it hard to figure out what step was next. He gave up and the walker has been sitting on our dining room table for over a month with only a few of the light kit pieces attached. Disappointed considering he spent money he received for Christmas on this.

I could not finish this lighting upgrade. The instructions were not clear with where to run the wires. Basically, the instructions book showed dark photos of black wires running against dark backgrounds. Often times the instructions would say to run wires through a certain area, but I was unable to determine what to run and where. An updated set of instructions showing exactly where the wires are to run would help this tremendously. On the other hand, the parts are good quality and bagged and labelled in a very clear manner so you can always locate the part you need.

I love adding these LED light kits to my Lego Star Wars models. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I'd almost say at times, the LED light kit instructions were better than those for this particular Lego kit. The end results are awesome and this kit really delivers the POP!

Bin zur Zeit bei der Montage der Beleuchtung, leider ist nicht immer ganz klar, wohin die Kabel zu verlegen sind, werde mich von meiner Intuition leiten lassen. Als kleines Manko empfinde ich, dass es für das Anschlusskabel an die Batteriebox keine Verlängerung gibt (bei mit sind es 100 cm). Das Modell steht in einer Vitrine, sodass die Batteriebox sich außerhalb befinden muss (in meinem Fall). Hoffe, dass im Elektrohandel eine solche Verlängerung erhältlich ist.

Die Beschreibung war in dem ersten Momenten ok doch im Bau verlauf kommt man schnell durcheinander da die Bilder von sehr schlechter Qualität sind. Sie sollten deutlich an der Anleitung arbeiten sei es Fotos oder Beschreibung z.b. „nächster Schritt“ Hab gute 4 stunden gebraucht. Obwohl es auch gut 2 hätten sein können, keine Verbinder um die dünnen Kabel aneinander zu binden. Inzwischen hat die Batterie Box ne Schraube zum öffnen die sinnlos ist und sie hat keinen Timer d.h. Wer sein Modell im Schaukasten hat muss ihn jedes mal öffnen um An oder Aus zu schalten oder die Akkus bzw. Batterie zu wechseln. Denn nach gut 12 Stunden sind die 3 Batterien fast leer.
