Q: How high is the heel? I have New Balance insoles and the heel is too high so the shoe heels slip and cause blisters.

The thickness of our insoles is the same for most models, around 6mm – that’s less than a quarter of an inch. With a runner like New Balance, Nike etc you simply take out the existing flat innersole and there won’t an issue with your foot slipping out of the shoe. However, if you put Footlogics on top of the existing removable insole it may end up sitting too high in the shoe. We find that with running shoes etc, the Meta Full-length works better as it completely replaces the existing full innersole already present in the run

Q: Would this work to use in shoes I play tennis ,walk, and work out in?

I had surgery for Morton's Neuroma. I golf, and walk 98% of the time. Without inserts, my feet hurt badly when I finish the round. With the inserts, I've little or no discomfort. If I plan on being out (pre-/post- quarantine), I will use inserts. They help immensely. They would have to fit the shoes perfectly for something like tennis, I'm sure; golf is not nearly the torque generating movements of golf. Talk to a podiatrist.

Q: What is the thickness of the insole?

I think it’s the perfect thickness. It should last awhile. It’s firm, but not too firm. They fit in my tennis shoes well.

Q: Can these be trimmed if they are wider than the shoe I need to put them in?

The product you selected is a 3/4 length and should not reach the end of the shoe eliminating the need to trim. If you purchased the full-length insole, we do recommend that you trim the toe down the fit your shoe size.
