This company protects their product for shipping, all the dried snow mushroom is whole and not smashed. I've bought from this company before and tried other companies, so far this company is my go to for snow mushrooms

The mushrooms arrived in a huge box, only to contain two very small bags—an unnecessary waste of packaging. The mushrooms themselves were disappointingly small, with a limited edible portion and a faded yellow color, suggesting they might be older stock. Overall, this felt like poor value and an unnecessary impact on the Planet

I love the texture some people may need a second to get used to the springy-ness----Healthy-Yummy! Cook for about 7 mins-make into a soup or salad or dessert ( soak for minimum of 30 mins first--must cook before eating! ) I use sesame oil and Braggs Aminos because I'm not great with food prep but if you are these will be a great addition to a healthy diet!

They were delicious. The pack actually has two big bags in them.
