Goal Getter Yearly Business Workbook Paperback – September 28, 2021

I was delighted to find Leonie's planners in my mail recently - they are so beautiful and useful. She mentioned Amazon did admit an error for some folks who received their books in black and white, and those folks are entitled to a new book (contact Amazon customer service).Unlike other folks, I use a straight-up black pen to work my way through the workbook, and there isn't any bleed-through. I'm super disappointed they are not spiral-bound, as that makes for a much more comfy experience. But, the content is still there and the colors and fun-ness of the books are familiar and delightful. I have used these workbooks for about 6 years and have always loved them in the past, but I was very disappointed in this last, presumably final round of workbooks. They aren’t actually workbooks at all in the sense that you can’t write in them the same way you could with the previous versions. The paper quality of the others was very thick and you could use gel pens without (much) bleed through. These pages are just thin, regular weight paper, like you’d have in any regular book that wasn’t intended to be written in. They say they are printed without the year so they can be used again and again, but it doesn’t honestly seem like they can even be used once, at least not the way they were intended. You’re meant to be able to work in them, write things out, doodle, plan, daydream…the magic was in getting your pens out and creating a helpful guide you can use through the year and the ritual of doing it every year. If you tried to do that in these, it will bleed through so badly you won’t be able to read the pages. I understand that it’s not reasonable to expect an author to create a certain product forever, their ability to invest time/money/energy may change, they may simply stop feeling inspired to create that product anymore, but one last printing in the normal workbook format that we could have actually used would have been so much better. If you’ve never used Leonie’s workbooks in the past, they could be helpful for you if you write lightly in pencil, maybe? If you have used them in the past and liked them, you may be disappointed in this version.

Unlike past years, this is not in color on the inside. It makes for rather a bland goal getter book and ruins Leonie's art and vision. The ideas are still good, but if you like a pretty book, this is not it. I liked last years so much better.

Sure it makes sense to just write in the past and current year. But it feels...Cheap.Far less colorful than years past.I'm planning on having my local copy shop trim off the binding and put in a spiral.For the price I wish I was getting what I had in prior years.

Love Leonie’s workbook books. Yes she has updated them so they are not spiral bound or have the year on the front. I actually think this is an improvement! The colours are just as beautiful and they now feel a bit more compact so easier to carry around with you. I don’t get why people have given them one star. She’s just made a really good business decision by simplifying the workbooks a bit more.

I have been using Leonie Dawson's workbooks for years now, and always look forward to them. I'm delighted that she has realised that she doesn't need to update them every year, and can focus on creating her wonderful courses.Go Leonie!PS My books were in gorgeous vibrant colours, but I do miss the watercolour backgrounds ;)

Never disappointed with Leonie Dawson products, they’re so good. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely love this again, fab product. Much prefer this option without the spiral bound - it’s clear from the photos how it comes so I’m super chuffed 😀
