I love how small this camera is and it takes great quality videos with sound!

This little camera works well, but the instructions are very difficult to decipher and the camera runs hot while operating. I got this camera to monitor animal behavior around my house in preparation for pest control. I wanted something that is motion sensitive and has IR capabilities. This camera worked well for these purposes, but the instructions left me scratching my head. As a favor to other customers I have included a simplified list of operation instructions. Turn camera on: long press on/off button until blue light appears. Blue light signifies 720 camera recording standby mode. To record continuous video in this mode short press on/off button. The light will turn off and recording begins. To stop recording short press the on/off button and the solid blue light will turn back on, signifying standby mode. To record with motion sensor in 720 quality, long press mode button while in 720 standby mode. The blue light will flash several times and turn off. This signifies that recording has begun. Press the on/off button to stop recording. To record in 1080 quality short press mode button while the blue light is on. This will change the light to a red/blue flashing light which signifies 1080 standby mode. Short pressing the on/off button will turn off the light, signifying that continuous recording has begun. To record with motion sensor in 1080 quality, long press mode button while in 1080 standby mode. The red/blue light will flash several times and turn off. This signifies that recording has begun. Press the on/off button to stop recording. To turn off the camera long press on/off button. This action will save all videos to the micro SD card (not included) so that they can be visualized on the computer. Failure to turn off the camera before pulling the micro SD card will cause issues with video formatting and some videos may be lost. Hopefully this information helps individuals that choose to purchase this camera in the future.

Very difficult to set up, instructions are useless. You tube has a few good instructables, but set it up and run a lot of trials with this first.

Complete junk! 1st use, I got 3 videos, then the thing must gave turned itself off. 2nd use, I foot 20 videos, I can only see 15 seconds of the first one, the rest are just black. I'm going to buy a better one and throw this one right I the trash where it belongs. Complete waste of money

This is a super mini camera,it has great quality with clear videos and pictures. This camera is easy to set up and use,the mini camera has 2 different resolution 1080P / 720P,you can operate it via the buttons.It's support motion detection (will start recording when the camera detects movement) and night vision function (records in complete darkness). Warm tips: the package comes without the micro sd card,you need to buy it to save the videos and pictures.Overall is ok,I will recommend it to my friends.

This camera might work well, but as several verified users have noted, the instructions are unclear (to be polite), and as many have noted, the setting mechanism with a pinhole flashing blue and red light is ridiculous. There is no effective way to tell the camera's current setting without plugging it in and checking what it recorded. Getting it set up with the lights etc requires paragraphs of reading and memorizing which sequence of flashes is what: a direct quote from the "1080P motion detecting," which I would take to be a popular one: "in 1080P video mode (red and blue lights normally on), long press Mode button for 3 seconds, red light flashes 3 times, blue light long on, and then red light flashes 3 times and DV in 1080P mobile video standby mode..." Remembering that exact sequence while watching the pinhole (look at the directions and you miss the flashes, requiring you to start over) is challenging, to say the least, and despite the directions, it appears to me that no lights stay on once it is set into a recording mode - you can't tell whether it is on or off. In terms of hardware this seems to be a pretty decent design, with much packed into a very small package for an affordable price. But I am rating this primarily based on its user-interface, meaning whether the average individual can get it set up as desired. F in that category. Advice for the manufacturer: get rid of the two buttons and flashing lights. Install 1 switch for Power On/Off; 1 switch for 720P/1080P; 1 switch for Motion Detection/Continuous; 1 switch for infrared NV on/off. Then anyone could take it out of the package and set it up in under a minute. And then they might not return it (as I did).

for what it does I love it but wish it had wifi for versatility

For the price you get a decent camera. Good video and audio. A little confusing to learn to operate. Night mode subpar, and motion tracking doesn't seem to work. Had to send my first one back because it didn't opperate properly.
