Q: What type of whey protein is this?

It is mainly Whey Concentrate. It does have some Soy Lecithin. Supplements with Whey Concentrate generally help improve overall health. Whey Concentrate seems to work better as a meal replacement for me, it is absorbed slower and seems to provide a longer lasting full feeling. The only down-side to Whey Concentrate is that if you are Lactose intolerant you cannot use products containing it, as there is a significant amount of lactose present in Whey Concentrate. Other forms of Whey (Isolate or Hydrolyzed) are more rapidly absorbed and work better as a post workout supplement to me these types of Whey Protein do not provide a full feeling for very long at all. Q: What do you mix it with?

I have a hand blender that fits well into any of several tall, wide plastic drink cups. To make the shake, I put about 1/2 cup crushed ice, 1/3 packet of protein powder, 2 TB of plain, unsweetened yogurt and 1/2 of a banana, then about 8 oz of 1% organic milk. Blend together. It makes a delicious frozen/frosty chocolate drink. That, along with a piece of toasted Eureka cracked organic wheat bread and Canola butter makes the perfect breakfast. Nothing else needed. No hunger pangs for hours. These protein shake packets are easily able to make 2-3 drinks as a healthful addition to your diet, however I am a fit woman and am not trying to add increased muscular bulk at this time. My body-builder son would use an entire packet at one go, but he was trying to add size and bulk.

I had ordered strawberry. But you should check the selection of chocolate, vanilla or strawberry to decide which is right for you.
