Q: Is this tape safe to microwave? I’m making bowl holders & I want them safe to microwave.

I do not think this would be microwave safe. Those bowls have to be 100% cotton. If you have any poly blend in it, it will catch on fire in the microwave. Cotton thread, cotton fabric, cotton batting is all you should use. If you need to piece your batting, you can sew it with a basting stitch, or zigzag the pieces together. Just be sure to use cotton thread.

Q: will this work on Poly-fil low loft quilt batting to join seams?

I"ve used this many times and it worked great for me. Just watch your irons heat setting so that it doesnt get too hot..try on scrappy piece first. I love this so I do not waste the batting.

Q: Can anyone give me the directions on how to use this? The label on the package covered the directions and I couldn't peel it off.

Put the edges of your batting together, lay the bumpy side of the tape down covering both edges. Place some fabric over the top of the tape to protect your iron and press. I use an old cotton dish towel (flour sack like) and count to 5. I've used this on 2 quilts so far and loved the results!!
