GeoSync Hybrid LNB 6 Output - 2 x Wideband and 4 x Quad - with Sky Compatible Bracket & Level for Use with Sky Q, Sky+, SkyHD or Freesat

Got rid of Sky A and all I needed was a different lnb to receive freesat. Parcel arrived next day and fitted with no hassle in 10 minutes. Worked immediately. Great product at very reasonable price.

I moved from SkyHD (£98 per month) to Freesat 4K (Free) and the Freesat box works fine on the old Sky dish, but to activate the simultaneous 4 channel recording you need the change the standard Sky LNB on the dish to a Wideband LNB, i removed the old sky LNB set the correct Degrees for the South east on the GeoSync LNB fitted it on the dish screwed back in the F-type connectors restarted the Freesat 4K box and straight away was able to record 4 channels. The GeoSync LNB has a strong signal and works superb, the whole thing took 10 minutes to fit. (I bought this GeoSync LNB Model because i have 2 x Freesat 4K boxes in the house, if you only have 1 box you don’t need this model)

Purchased a 2nd hand Freesat box (an older Humax FOXSAT-HDR but it was as new and does what I need) and assumed I could just connect it up to my Sky dish. Turns out that is not the case if the dish was for Sky Q (Different type of LNB). After a bit of research I found this one.This one works a treat and is easy enough to install assuming you have tall enough ladders (and don't mind heights).Most difficult part of the installation (apart from needing to buy some ladders tall enough for me to be able to reach the dish) was removing the plastic retaining clip from the original Sky Q LNB. Once that was removed the swap over was easy and only took a couple of minutes. My advice, make sure you take up an 11mm spanner (to undo the LNB connectors) and some long nose pliers to get the old plastic retaining clip off.As soon as this was swapped over and the Freesat box was re-connected (ensure you disconnect the box before swapping over LNB's) it picked up loads of Freesat channels fine with no issue.Just be careful when installing and make sure its level (it has a built in spirit level) and its at the correct 'skew' angle (that was already preset on the one I bought for the UK).Very happy and loads of Freesat channels, and no expensive TV package subscription.
