These were exactly what I was looking for. They look like real candles. I absolutely love these.

The tapers are realistic looking and so is the flames they give. They are very well made. Love the fact that it came with two remote controls.

The candles are used in a center piece. They look great. I only buy candles with a timer function.

These are real wax and they look like real candles lit. The flame on these is not that garish fake bright orange, it’s a warm subtle orange, much more realistic then the earlier ones that came out. These have a remote with a 4 or 8 hour timer, they can be set to just light or flicker, these flame tips do not shimmy like some others, the flame doesn’t more it just flickers internally. No batteries are included, they take 2 AAA batteries each, which you have to supply. This is a set of 6, the first box I got had three that were cracked, an exchange was no problem and the replacement was perfect. These are really wonderful, the gentle flicker really make these look very convincing, love that they are real wax, makes a huge difference in making these look so real. Highly recommend

Out of the 6 candles in the box 5 were damaged. I should have paid better attention to the poor reviews. Received replacements the next day. All are in perfect condition and beautiful. They look realistic.

These are beautiful. A reception venue would not allow open flames so I purchased these for the candelabras. They worked great and looked like the real deal. Tea Lights and Votives that I'd purchased for the venue came with batteries. These candles DO NOT! I was taken by surprise and had to send someone out to get the AAA batteries needed. Other than that I couldn't have been happier with my purchase.

I only use battery operated candles anymore and they are a beautiful addition to my collection

These are good-looking and realistic LED dinner candles. In daylight, of course, they look like exactly what they are - candles with a plastic flame on top - but you don't light candles in broad daylight, you light them in subdued light conditions, which is when they really come into their own and look surprisingly convincing.The 'pros' are obvious: no fire hazard, no dripping wax and - possibly most importantly - no smuts or smell to affect people with respiratory complaints/sensitivity. They are easy to operate - the remote control is very straightforward and works well (and it's nice to have a spare). The 'flicker' effect is realistic.The 'cons' are very few in number ... chiefly, I suppose, the fact that the candles take two AAA batteries each. If you want to use all 6 at the same time, that's not cheap, but being LED bulbs, those batteries will last quite a long time.The price is possibly a little high, considering there are no batteries included ... which is why I've taken one star off.On the whole, however, I like these very much and feel that they're a good buy for occasional use.

These are superbly realistic LED candles, and really could be mistaken for the real thing. Each candle has a wax body with a plastic flame-shaped light on top, which can either flicker very gently to look like a flame in a slight breeze, or be set to steady burn. The flicker is a very gentle variation with a little movement, it’s not an obtrusive flashing. The colour is very close to the real thing, no hints of pink or green you sometimes get. The brightness is also very close to a candle flame - these really are very realistic.The candles are each powered by 2no. AAA batteries, so there’s quite a bit of extra outlay for the batteries, as these aren’t supplied. They don’t last that long either - after a week or so of use (not a lot daily) they grow noticeably duller, though do actually last a long time on lower brightness. For economy it would be worth considering a good rechargeable battery. It’s really a shame they don’t make these rechargeable, as that would make them perfect.
They are supplied with a remote control (two in fact, so you could easily split them and use in different rooms). This makes switching on and off easy (you can otherwise use the switch on the underside of each candle), it also enables variations in brightness, switch the flickering effect on and off and set the timer. So these are a bit more high-tech than some similar candles.The candles are well packed in a padded box, which is probably worth keeping for storage when not in use. A really nice product, but make sure you have plenty of AAA batteries to hand.
