First Impression - Overall an Excellent Device
Leaving a review since no one else has yet....I received this item yesterday - installation and setup were a breeze. The manual comes with a template for cutting out the mounting hole, and the wiring was very straightforward. The included power supply wires click into the back of the panel, and have eyelets on the other end for attaching to your power source. The wire is very thin - 20 or 22awg - so you'll only be able to connect very light loads to the panel switches.I already had my items paired to the DC Home app on my phone and Renogy ONE was able to quickly sync with my phone and the paired devices. The auto-dimming screen is very bright during the day and gets dim enough at night to not be bothersome while sleeping. You can set the display to sleep after various interval options between 30s and 15m.I have yet to try the switches or any of the automation features.I have a built-out 2017 Mercedes Sprinter and below is my current setup (all Renogy products):3x100W Solar Panels40A MPPT Rover (w/BT1 Bluetooth module)200ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery w/Bluetooth2000W Inverter

Very poor quality hardware, unreliable
This system is a serious challenge to get set up correctly. It has a hard time finding devices on Bluetooth. After it has found devices, it frequently will lose them, and you will have to delete all the devices and reacquire them again. When it works great. I have it connected to a Wireless access point in my trailer and so I can check the status of my system from my home. Unfortunately, frequently decides not to work. I think it gets too hot. When I enter trailer to see what’s happening, the screen is frozen or if the screen is not frozen, The unit is so hot you can barely touch it. Truthfully this was a terrible investment. Wish I had not bought Renogy batteries, inverter, or the M1.

Not very intuitive, but works
If you are expecting a device that is intuitive for non automation people, this is not it. With an instruction manual on how to actually use the device not included (just has it for installation and that even lacks important info), you will tempted to pack this device up and return it. Also, you need to provide your own hack if you need an AC adapter (not hard, but annoying for some). So what is so unintuitive about it? Well, after installation (which was smooth), you are asked to connect your devices. In my case, I had to connect our Bluetooth waterfall. After connecting it, you would think that you would have access to the controller, then you could turn the waterfall off remotely from the controller from your app on the phone. Nope, instead, you select the controller on your app and you are just greeted with a menu to rename your device and unpair it. That is it. It took about 15 minutes of me searching in the app to realize you have to create a "scene" for it.With advent of google and Amazon hitting home automation, you would think Renogy would use that user experience as a benchmark. The only reason I figured it out and created a "scene" was because I used to do home automation years ago. For a standard user who may not know about home automation (ie my wife), this product has a pretty steep user curb to just get it working out of the box.So while the product works and it does have useful features, I have to ding points because the user experience will be behind modern times for some people. At the very least, they could have included a quick start guide.

Ensure you have time and patience for installation
Purchased the M1 in Mar 2023 to monitor a RVR 60 with 800W of panels. Installation was straightforward and all working as expected. I have In August 2023, I added a RVR 100 with 1000W of panels. Adding the additional controller was without issue. Within a week or so, the monitoring started to have issues. Since August 2023, Renogy has replaced the RVR 60, the M1, and now the RVR 100 on 12/23/23. As of today, I am still working with Renogy to resolve the issue. I have several scenes, devices and automations running within the M1, so don't get me wrong, it's a good device, the base functionality is the issue.

Nice try, but does not work like it is supposed to
Does not integrate with renogy batteries or renogy shunt, or renogy inverter. Phone app syncs with shunt after 30 minutes, but loses connection after a few minutes. Pretty screen. It just doesn't do anything that it is supposed to do.

Doesn't work, total junk, AVOID
It says its' compatible with their older MPPT controller, and it sort of is, but it won't even give you the rough battery percent shown on the screen of the MPPT controller. It wouldn't connect to my wifi even though my laptop and phone would, it just wouldn't do it. Tech support was terrible, nobody knew what the hell was going on. Avoid this product is utter trash, real shame.
