I got this as a gift for my Husband and he was so happy with the quality! I was beyond happy with the quality for the price and variety of colors so he has every color he need for his jobs. It sharpens easily and grips the writing center well. It fits great in your pocket, pouch or bag and is thin and compact. It’s very durable, he uses it daily and carry’s it in his pocket and bag while being smacked, whacked and abused in daily work and never had an issue! It’s been so versatile for work and home project and he loves how great at works especially when I told him how much it was.

’ve been using this Nicpro carpenter pencil set on various jobs and it’s much better quality than I expected for the price. The pencils feel sturdy in hand and don’t break easily like standard carpenter pencils. I love that the set comes with 26 refills and a built-in sharpener — the deep-hole marker design makes it easy to get a consistent point. The case keeps everything organized and portable. Good value if you want a complete set for woodworking or construction marking.

Bought these on a whim and I like them. The grip is very comfortable. They are much sturdier than I would have thought and don't break near as much as my carpenter pencils seem to. Not heavy and fit in the pocket very well so you can keep them at hand. Nice case to store them and the extra leads in between projects. I like the red for allot of stuff and the yellow work fairly well on metal sheeting and some darker materials. Each one has a sharpener plus comes with an extra if you need really fine lines. Most times I don't even sharpen them and they are fine. I will be keeping them!

These are sold as 'Carpenter' pencils, but work pretty well on anything you want to mark. The lead is a nice balance of hardness, being hard enough to not break easily, yet soft enough to leave a good mark. The lead is well protected by a metal barrel that surrounds it almost all the way to the tip. When not in use, you can retract the lead completely within the metal barrel so it won't be damaged. Works just like any other mechanical pencil, just much more heavy duty. Click on the top to advance the lead, click and hold, and you can press the lead up into the barrel. Comes with extra leads of different colors which are easy enough to swap out so you can have a bright color mark on a dark background, or even marks of different colors for different things. Remove the cap at the very top, and you have a sharpener for the lead in case you need to make precision marks. The sharpener is helpful because the lead is about 3X as thick as a standard mechanical pencil, so if you want to make a fine mark you will likely need to sharpen it a bit. Overall, they work well, and getting 2 pencils in the pack lets you have dark lead in one, and bright lead in the other, ready to go. It is easy to know which one has which lead, as one pencil has a dark body, the other a bright colored one. Comes in a decent enough plastic storage case. Overall, they work well and aren't too pricey for what you get.

Amazing value! You get so many refills and the overall design and included sharpening end caps of each pencil takes the cake. I bought two packs and use them every day for installing tile, LVP, any pretty much anything else you can think of for home improvement. These are my go-to mark method now.

I think these pencils are great. Strong and easy to use, refill. Makes work easier than constantly sharpening a standard pencil or a carpenter’s pencil. Glad I got them

This is an excellent set of carpenter's pencils. I really like that there is a sharpener in the cap of each pencil. It shows the designer thought about how the pencils would be used. I also like the three colours of leads that come with the set - I'm currently using the yellow and the red because they mark timber very nicely. I would heartily recommend this set - it's great value, great design and just what I need for woodworking.
