It will work either way, but if you play the notes or chords too closely together (or too quickly) it will not swell correctly. Think of it as a noise gate that opens slowly when you strike a note or chord. Once it’s open it will try to stay open until it has a chance to close again... if that makes any sense. It’s a decent pedal, but you would have more control over your swells by using a volume pedal.

Yes but it is not very easy to understand.

no i dont think it does. when i click it off, ive not heard any late echo.....i will say this, it is very small compared to the standard pedal size.....when i opened the package i thought it was a joke
