Great product for the price. Its plastic I initially bought it for my toddlers. They would constantly turn on the water hose. This came fast and fit well. Of course it dose not come with a lock you will have to purchase that separately.

First and foremost - these are very light duty... They close over the LP valve and then you supply and use your own lock to secure it. They work great but are really only going to keep honest people honest. They are not going to stop anyone that really wants to access the valve.

There was a construction site next to my house. They were using my water... and so were random people who would wander the neighborhood using the port-a-potty. They'd even lie and say they got permission to use my water. These put an end to it!Just make sure you get the right size. They're easy to install and fit great. They were able to withstand the Florida hurricane season last year, so that says something impressive about the quality & functionality of them.

We bought it to stop our toddler from grabbing and turning the hose on. It works great we just use a small lock but even a D key chain hook would work too to keep it closed!
