The Tanakh (Hebrew Edition)

I have a theory why this $59.99 volume is so cheap. First it's very nice to have a copy of the original scriptures in the original language. The main issue here though is as I was reading the Introduction - How to Approach the Tanakh Saul Sadka states and I quote, "Since we know that our physical bodies evolved from apes, we can correctly read the story of the garden as teaching us delicate lessons about the human condition and as answering questions about our place in the world; questions that occupy us today just as they occupied our ancestors." This is blasphemy of the highest nature. God is not a monkey, as he created us in his image and evolution does not exist (this isn't Pokemon) as you can look out your home window and not find a single creature, human or otherwise in a stage of evolving. Also, if this were true, why are the other apes not changing? Why haven't we found evidence of our future selves? Ha ha, evolution on a comedic level either happens so fast there is no evidence of it occuring or happens so slowly it doesn't occur at all. Evolution is a belief created by Lucifer, made to make humans believe they can explain their own creation. Sorry, doesn't work and Saul Sadka ruined a beautiful bible with this garbage.

Beautiful tanakh. Decent sized print (I wear a thick prescription and my eyes don't strain with this size at all) worth every penny and more

I was expecting a pocket size book for the prize paid, what I got is a beautiful leatherbound full size book with gilded pages. I ordered another one to give as an impressive present.

I was surprised how nice this is. Nice cover and gilt pages. The print is not any larger than a smaller volume but you get the chaiastic arrangement. The introduction is the only part in English but I found it very good.

The fact I got this for only $5 or so.. astounding deal! The book is so huge and so well-designed, how are they not losing money from this?
