The media could not be loaded. I didn't expect much from this $50 cue. But was pleasantly surprised.Pros:- straight cue with good balance. Slightly forward heavy- 5/16 18 joint with good fit. Nothing fancy but the joint is tight- the wrap on the butt is leather or plastic leather. the new fad with cues these days vs Irish linen. The wrap is grippy- cue tip is a short ferrule with single layer tip. Nothing fancy but holds chalk and produces good spin on the ball.- the shaft is ok. It is not a predator shaft. It will never be a predator shaft. It is low grade maple with a rough finish, but it is straight and is consistent. Soft to medium stroke is the sweet spot for this shaft.- excellent starter cue with room to grow with the playerCons:- if you are a hustler, the large and boisterous logo name (hij loalowe) will make you stand out like Phil Mickelson at a PGA match.- the shaft has a rough finish. No slick finish on the wood surface- hij loalowe ... What does this mean??Summary:- very good value for $50. Channel your inner efrain reyes with this cue!

It’s ok. When it was delivered it was wrapped up in what looked like a garbage bag. The presentation needs work! On the other hand the pool stick was fine. Pretty sturdy and somewhat well made. Enjoyed a night of pool with the hubby!

Not a bad cue considering its price, but the length is 57", not 58" as indicated in the product description. This matters a lot. If you're shorter than 5' tall, maybe this cue will be fine, but otherwise, you should probably go with one that has the industry-standard length of 58". When I purchased this cue (and subsequently returned it), I notified Amazon of this problem with the product's description. They've not made any sort of correction.

Looks and feels like a pretty decent 2-piece stick. Packaging was poor - arrived just wrapped in thin plastic, no particular protection, cardboard tube or other proper packaging for an item like this. Also, having the gibberish computer-generated Chinese company name "HIJ Loalowe" emblazoned on the size in huge letters seems a little obnoxious to me - it's not like it's a quality, well-known name brand and if the stick were made by such a brand they wouldn't plaster their name along the side in such huge letters. They'd be more tasteful about it. But beyond that the cue seems decent enough.

The media could not be loaded. Why I chose this product:We needed to upgrade our pool sticks, as we had the sticks that came with our pool table and they are too light and much lower quality. We found that we were skimming the cue ball because our tip would slip off the ball.Features & Functionality:This pool stick is the perfect weight and glides so easily in your hand. The tip holds the chalk well and we no longer slip off the cue ball when shooting. I really like the length and smooth feel of this stick and we are able to make a clean follow through. This is a great stick for Pool hobbyists.Things that could be improved:The packaging could be improved. It arrived in thin black plastic with tape wrapped around it and nothing to prevent the two pieces from cracking or rubbing together. Luckily the stick was not damaged but the packaging is a little off putting.

I’m pretty happy with this cue. It assembles very well. I really like the finish on it, sleek design. Product description says 19 oz which IMO is perfect. If you want a heavier cue for breaking there’s usually one available, but for the overall game this is great. I found it to be straight and true, pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. It does have beautiful amber-red colors, but the “minimalist design” could be enhanced by making the brand name a little more discreet. Product specification : 13mm leather tip. 58" in length. 19oz in weight. 5/16 x18 pin. Medium Deflection Canadian hard rock Shaft. Black rubber bumper. My viewpoint: leather tip is very nice, hold chalk extremely well. Length is just right, as well as the weight. Connection is very well done. Super nice Canadian hardwood shaft.

The tip of the cue is very hard and doesn't offer a touch/spin. More importantly, the stick is not straight. It's warped. No good pool cue should be uneven.
