Q: Will this net remove fine silt, pollen and tiny tiny bugs from the surface of my pool?

I bought this net in hopes it would remove silt and pollen like others on here said it would. To my disappointment it does not. It removes smaller things than a normal net but doesn't remove pollen and silt they still flow right through it. The best remover I have found for that fine yellow pollen from pine trees is putting knee high panty hose stockings in my filter basket. The only way to remove the silt is to vacuum it out on the waste setting.

Q: Will any pole fit into this net?

It will not fit every pole. It’s too small for a regular pool pole

Q: will it pick up knats?

It's very fine mesh... will pick up most small particles. It should get the gnats with no problem.

Q: I just received my product but did not receive a pole. How do I receive a poll to use the product? It doesn’t really work without it

I bought my net as a replacement for one that was worn out and falling apart. You have to read what is included when you buy. There are several nets with the poles included on Amazon. I think there are also poles available for sale. Almost all of the receivers in the poles are the same. You can use the same pole for a brush, net, or vacuum. I have 3 poles, but I really like the smaller pole that the net is on, so I just switch the net for the brush when I need it.
