Got the job done the first time!

I camp in the back of my truck, having installed fabric on mostly everything, waterproofing is a huge issue, no one likes waking up to a wet sleeping bag after a night of rain! After trying a handful of other weather stripping and truck bed seal products, I think I've finally found something that works. When I held the roll in my hand I knew it was a quality product, plenty heavy and a high quality feel. The product maintains its "sponge" when sealed under the truck cap, unlike a weather stripping product which inevitably compresses to a thin strip of nothing. The added bit of butyl-rubber type compound (think sticky-tack) is a great addition for cramming into those tiny holes and corners which are otherwise impossible to fill. Make sure you clean the mating surface with alcohol or acetone to get the best results, I found the small alcohol pads weren't quite enough, but that they added them to the kit at all was a nice touch, everyones got some rubbing alcohol laying around the house anyways. SO happy with this great stuff, well worth the price.

This is a thick, wide, quality seal. My old seal was so cheap and smashed. Installed this one and still had some left over. Installed on Leer Topper on 2021 Toyota Tacoma 5ft bed.

Does the job. Stays sealed. Soft and compressed in place. Does not noticeably raise the bed cover. Not really reusable.
