Q: Why is this useless piece of plastic being sold? can't connect, can't leave review, can't send email because email included is bad, can do nothing!

Actually, these are some of the easier-connecting ones. Make sure you are connecting it to your 2.4 Ghz channel (some still don't get that these only connect through a 2.4 and not a 5 Ghz channel).

Hi MarkW Yes, the smart plug can be compatible with GoSmart app. In addition, smart plugs also work with Alexa and google home.

Q: dimensions: Are these plugs really 4 inches in depth? That will stick out. And they're called mini-plugs?!

The package will be 4”x4”x2” The plugs are not much deeper than the plug that goes in them. If you use the picture of the plug and socket, that is a good size reference. One thing to note, I can not plug two into the same two socket outlet but, you can still use the second socket for standard plugs.

Q: So, to use these, I cannot use my 5 Ghz wifi anymore for other devices? Or, I just use 2.4 when setting up the 1st time?

It's easy to setup. Just go to the EIGHTTREE website or APP they have a video to show how to do it easily. I followed the video & was very easy.
