The two cylinder version is a few hundred bucks, but who wants two when you can have 8, lol, and assembly shouldn't be much of at all different from a real engine, would make a nice weekend project, but not for that price, for that amount of money, I could blow up my current truck motor, build a new one turbo charge it, and have more fun, I don't see any reason these should carry that price tag, infact when they first hit the market, I don't think they were anywhere near that highI'm wanting on for my kyak/jet drive project, Id prefer the v8, I plan on getting one of the larger jet drives for r/c boats and something like this, or a weed eater motor to mount in my kyak.Sounds all good in my head.. cheers all!

I have been researching these motors for a few years now. As much as I would like to purchase and play with one, at this price I can go to the junkyard and get a real v8 (or an entire running, drivable car) for a few hundred dollars and tinker with it. Not to mention that you have to assemble it and hope it works... No thanks son!

Wow. Holy crap, I can get a real V6 for $5,500

Took me the better part of 3 years. After many attempts and research, the instructions are not the greatest, I finished it! Looking at building another, that’s if the wife doesn’t kick me out for buying another! Great long term project, anyone who wants a challenge should give buy this!

I could get A REAL used v6 or v8 for this money
