Installed in about 3 hours because it was 60 degrees outside. Most of my time spent was on the doors. The rest of the top was very easy. Everything went on with a very tight fit. The upper doors were a different story. Tip for those struggling with the doors, I got the door on easily using this order for the corners: 1. Lower rear corner 2. Lower front corner 3. Upper rear corner 4. Upper front corner The rest of the top is pretty straight forward. Install from front to back of the Jeep. To get the buttons on, with them on front to back, while folding the flap UP so you can actually press it in. Once they’re clipped on, tuck away that flap. Good luck.

Fit with no issues using my factory hardware. The upper door skins were a pain to get on, however this problem isnt exclusive to any specific products, it's just par for the course with door skins. This top replaced my factory (25 years old) top and seems to be pretty decent quality. Everything lined up and slid/snapped into place as it should. The tint looks great as well. You really cant argue with the price and the fact that you're getting a quality top to boot is a very hard deal to beat.

I replaced the top and door skins on my 94 YJ and love it. I live in the Rockies and lots of cold, snow, mud and slop, my old top was in rough shape. My new top fit well and is holding up well and it's so nice being able to see out my side windows and not having cold drafts. Good value, good quality what more can I ask for

Easy install but the snaps over the door are tight. It’s new so I expected it to be tight. It fits nice and was a great value for the price. Installed on a 1987 YJ.

The short answer is that this top wasn't bad for the price. If I paid more, I would be upset. Here's why: - The zipper stop fell off during installation when it got jammed. This took a few teeth with it. The zippers in general are sub standard, not YKK or equivalent for sure. - Black denim is not quite as nice as just plain black; there is grey coloring weaved in throughout so be advised. - Windows are great quality and clear. Window zipper pulls like to jingle around regardless of their position on the track. Zipper bumpers can fix this and are super cheap. - Instructions were good. - Installation was a little tricky but let's face it... what isn't temperamental on a YJ? Final Thoughts: 1) When they say let it sit in the sun for a while, they aern't kidding. 2) Go in order, the sequence is there for a reason, otherwise it will fight you all the way. 3) Bestop makes a better RAT (Replace-A-Top) but it costs much more, and you get what you pay for. If you're just going to screw it up wheeling then yeah, go for this thing!

I purchased this replacement top for my 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ. My previous top was many years old and in need of replacement. I read through the many reviews on Amazon for several different top options including Bestop RAT, Rampage, Sierra Offroad, and Pavement Ends tops. The best reviews seemed to belong to this Smittybilt top so I decided to purchase it. The top is extremely nice, great quality, and made my Jeep look new again. The fit is excellent and is better than previous Bestop Replace A Top. The top fits tightly, has normal road noise on the highway, and does not flap against the frame bars when driving. I would recommend this top to anyone if I was asked.

This soft top has got to be the absolute worst quality top I have ever dealt with. First of all its zippers are absolutely useless and made from plastic so they break under the slightest pressure. Had the top just 2 years had to we warranty it out already and guess what zippers broke again. I dont ever take the top off because I'm afraid it will break and wont go back on. 2nd problem is its noisy as hell. Unlike most models u can not just zip the plastic from the window without removing the upper half of door, so when u drive the windows get sucked out and beats the side of my door causing the zipper to mess up my paint with little scratches. The top actually makes me not want to drove the jeep I worked so hard on . Update and now the windows are falli g apart. Do ti our self a favor and try best top over this one. Not worth the money and the product is not durable .

Poor quality overall. Material was not durable. Didn’t take long before it buckled to the desert heat in Arizona. Bestop is a much more durable material and better looking also. I wouldn’t purchase this brand again. Zippers broke shortly after purchase. Cheap isn’t always cheaper. I had to buy a new top soon after purchasing this smitty.

Fits good, zipper are easy. The door tops were a little difficult but 2 wooden spoon handles made it pretty easy.

Pensé que quedaría con los herrajes de BestTop, sin embargo no es compatible, tuve que adecuarlos para poder usarlo :( estaría magnífico si Smittybilt también manejara un soft top para este mismo modelo de jeep pero de puertas completas.

I chose this rating because for the following reasons: 1) came on time 2) fits great 3) easy to install even if you need a little more elbow grease:) totally satisfied. Thank you.

This only includes the skins and not the mounting hardware buyer beware by looking at the pictures I thought I was getting a complete soft top package with the mounting hardware
