Q: I don't see grade markings anywhere. Are we guessing at grits?

They come packaged by grit and marked on the packaging. No markings on individual discs. I used ziplocks and a sharpie to keep them identified.

Q: Can you used on 4 1/2 inch angle grinder?

These work on a hook and loop attach, like velcro. The 4 1/2 angle grinder I have uses a 1 inch hole through the center to fasten it. These are more for fine finish of paints and gelcoats as opposed to grinding metal and you would neet the hook and loop pad to attach them to grinder
