Q: What is the weight limit for the bench? Can it hold an adults weight to sit and put on shoes?

Fine for shoes, gloves and hat, however only young children should sit on it. Other than that a ok unit

Q: Directions for putting rack together were not in box??

Mine didn't have instructions, either. Description says a manual should be included. Sorry, a video is not helpful for something like this.

Q: Do you have to install the half shelf on the bottom? We are looking to place all tall boots under.

In my opinion it's ok without it. Ours is anchored into the wall at the top like the directions say to do. We do have the shelf on ours as the directions say to do but it's sturdy I'm sure omitting the middle half shelf would be ok. It's sturdy and attached to walk at top

Q: For the seller: can I install a towel rod underneath the top shelf for hangers? I prefer a different style but this coloring matches better.

I would say that’s stretching it for this product.
