I ended up buying two of these after one of my fans went out, keeping one as a spare. They work great, are recognized by the bios.

Will see how long it lasts and it fits but is not as pictured. The one I got does not have the metal latch to secure in place like the original. The seller should be more transparent about it as this is clearly a replica.
