30mm mini EDF Ducted Fan 6 Blades with Micro Brushed Motor 1S 4.2v 50g Thrust for RC Airplane Jet Model (CCW)

Hooked it up to a 9v battery and released the sound of a thousand angry bees. Havent found a new use for it once the original project it was part of died, but it makes a nice cooling desk fan in the summer.

Great little Turbo-Fan Motor --- but you have to be careful with your power source ! I bought two of these a while back. I tried using a 3.7volt lith-ion battery on the first one --- and it ran good for about 5 minutes or so --- then it overheated and died ! It actually got so hot that it melted the body off the fan motor !!! On the second fan --- I just used two "AA" Batteries (3volts) --- and it ran great --- Did not over heat or anything ! So--- there you have it ! Great little Turbo-Fan Motor --- really blows out a lot of air --- just be very careful on the power source you use on it ! DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY !!!

I have not constructed the plane this is meant for but have tested and broken in the fan. It has low vibration and produces thrust on 1AA battery that is pretty good. That's encouraging..

Worked well for an indoor/outdoor model I designed. No issues at all.

Seems like a good EDF so my rating is based on appearance and overall quality of build. I haven't used it yet.

The quality is high considering how low the price is. Definitely recommended.
