Loud and Clear, Needs Sub
Needs 2 sets of speaker wires running to it. Great mids and highs needs a sub. Very clear on vocals. Louder than my Definitive Technology with the same wattage being sent to both.

Absolutely Amazing.
I am a 57yr old man. I wanted to 'upgrade' my current aging Polk speakers so I decided to purchase these Klipsch knowing that they were USED and they stated issues all of which was aesthetic. No big deal for me. However, I had an issue with one of the two speakers (not related to the indicated aesthetic issues). I sent in a refund request. Then I changed my mind to an exchange for the one. I purchased the last one they had BEFORE my request was approved or denied because these speakers are absolutely amazing. These guys approved my refund.......for BOTH SPEAKERS! What!!!! They did not have to do that! You guys F'n rock! Not just for the money, (which I really don't care about) but for the service, consideration, and care for your customers. I am now your go-to for Klipsch speaker purchases. Which I am looking to get some rear surround. Lastly, My older brother wanted some (not this model) prior to my purchase, which he had no idea that I bought these. I explained to him of the issue I had and how it turned out. Now you have a new customer guys. So I HIGHLY RECOMMED this company.<EDIT> So I received the one tower I had ordered. It arrived perfect as usual. WELL PACKED, I mean WOW! Anyways, the lower 2 speakers did not work. Again, I swapped them out with the others and still nothing. Now I am NOT going to complain to much considering. But it still sucks.

Great speakers!! Nice sound with high volume (and built-in Dolby Atmos speakers)
I've been meaning to buy these speakers for a long time so when their price dropped to $479, I placed the order. Delivery went smooth, UPS guy was nice enough to help me carry them to my apt on the 3rd floor (I have no elevator in my building).Setup was fairly easy except that I wish the manual that came with the speakers had more info about the setup, considering people who have not owned these kinds of high-end speakers. For instance, at first I didn't know how to use the banana plugs because on the back of the speakers there didn't appear to be any holes. There were ports but no holes. I had to google it. Then I found out that the ports have caps on them, if you pry with your fingers, they come off. These speakers replaced my very old Kenwood speakers I bought 14 years ago. Kenwood speakers were ok and constructed with steel but they were not as nearly as powerful as these speakers. These speakers sound really great and very powerful. They are quite heavy and sturdy. You have to be careful when picking them up and moving them. Unfortunately due to the complexity of how my home electronics is set up, I didn't get to hook up the Dolby atmos speakers so I am not able to tell you my experience about them. As you probably already know, these speakers have built-in atmos speakers on top. They are not detachable. They are firmly built in.Overall, I think these speakers are great and I would recommend them highly. Oh by the way, I connected these speakers to my Yamaha RX-V683 receiver. I think any new, modern receiver would handle these speakers well. I still have my old surround speakers (Kenwood) and I wasn't sure how different speakers would work together but they are doing fine (although I'd like to replace/upgrade my surround speakers in the near future).

Great speaker just out of phase
Great speakers huge improvement from the sony speakers I had the only issue is that one of the dolby atmos speakers were wired in reverse. My receivers Audyssey set up kept giving me an error it was out of phase so I checked it and compared it to the other matching speaker just to confirm it. And it was connected backwards easy fix just troubles me this happened in the first place. I've heard not often but it does happen no matter what brand of speaker if something doesn't sound right it's worth checking new or not.

The Klipsch R-26 FA

The frequency range for my listening style of jazz music works fantastic.
I located the speakers as recommended in the installation instructions. I currently use the amplifier's ability to drive four -8ohm speakers using the separate A+B channels. Channel A being the front of the speaker cabinet and Channel B being the top of the speaker cabinet. With this setup the sound fills the room space very balanced such that you cannot perceive the sound coming from the speaker(s). I plan to connect the top and front speakers together to form 4 ohms and see how that sounds thereby using only the A channel of the Amplifier instead of mixing the A+B channels. That is more of an Amplifier question of sound quality in mixing versus not mixing channels.

great sound
The speakers arrived in original Klipsch boxes. Boxes were a little rough, but nothing was damaged inside. These are floor-standing speakers, so be prepared for the size. We replaced "bookshelf" speakers on sturdy metal stands. The footprint as just about the same, however with the Dolby Atmos speaker built into the top we had one less speaker pair to see. Atmos appears to be working fine, just have to get a good source video to make sure the overhead sounds are moving in the correct direction according to the scene displayed. Good bass response, I let the receiver set the crossover points as "large" and this sounds fine. All-in-all a good purchase at this price for an older model.

Great way to get atmos capability for an entry level price
These are built like brick outhouses. Solid. Heavy. The atmos quality is pretty good for the price point. The rest of the speakers are a little on the tinny sounding side. Not unbearable or even unlikeable. I heard after a bit they break in. I have these in 7.1 config with two subwoofers on oppo ends of my living room. For the price you really can't beat it. Great value and looks great. Sounds like a well above average entry level system.
