The perfect pedal?
I picked these mostly because of their size. I wanted a platform slightly larger than a Chester but not as huge as some of the largest pedals out there - I decided these were a good option for my size 10.5 feet. Not sure what more you could ask for from a set of pedals. They’re on the higher end of the price spectrum but certainly there are many more expensive options. The pins are exactly what I was looking for. With Five Ten shoes the grip is incredible and at first adjusting my feet was very difficult but I’m getting used to having to lift my foot a bit to adjust position. The pins are not as bone smashingly sharp as some other pedals I’ve ridden and it’s nice to not always be bleeding after the smallest contact with your shin or calf. Aesthetically these are gorgeous. Beautiful. Artwork. Quality construction and feels like the premium components they are. The slim design minimizes rock strikes directly below but the larger than most overall width does mean you will have to be aware of pedal strikes. I’ve taken some good ones on solid rock and no visible damage to the pedal yet. Coming from some raceface Chester’s, these are a whole new level of grip and pride of ownership. Obviously they should be at 2x the price. I’m stoked with these pedals and can’t wait to purchase some other oneup components in the future.

Very strong pedals
Love these pedals. Bought them in 2022 and only now doing a review. I beat these up like they owe me money!! Haha they are beat up but haven’t cracked and none of the pins have broke off. I slam them against rocks and roots all the time. I recommend them and I’d buy again if I had to.

One word: Perfect
I was looking for something light and durable. These pedals have been rock solid. Perfect grip with my Five Ten Trailcross LT shoes. They have seen their fair share of rock strikes and are still good as new. Also, the screws are dull enough to not scratch up my legs. Not the cheapest option there, but worth every penny.

Great pedals ! More friction than i expected..
They fit great ! They feel amazing ! I noticed though that one was more spinny than the other . And now that I hooked them up to my cranks, they’re both less spinny than I would have hoped for something in this price range. That aside, they’re amazing ! Lots of grip, very light, and they give my bike a more modern an sleek look! There’s also rebuild kits available on their website so if they ever get too worn in the pins or the bearings , you can replace them easily. Huge upgrade over stock ! Would have been 5 stars if not for that small detail.

Excellent pedals, very grippy
These pedals are incredibly grippy and feature a wide but thin platform. This makes them ideal because they allow for non-ideal placement of a foot without allowing sliding or slipping to occur. They improve confidence during cornering and rough sections due to their impressive hold and they feature a very open design that sheds mud and debris efficiently. The pedals came with several extra pins and are labelled as left and right for easy installation. Overall I am very pleased with these pedals and although better value can be had with nylon/composite pedals, I feel these are a worthwhile long term upgrade for serious riders. These can easily be transferred from bike to bike to instantly improve pedaling efficiency, ride control, and confidence.

A quality product from a quality brand
OneUp is a company for the rider. They prioritize quality over quantity. You get what you pay for, and you get a lot with these pedals. A solid platform with grippy pins, quality bearings and clean aesthetics. I use these on my downhill bike, and they worked great to help keep my feet planted on even the worst chunky, rocky, rooty trails.

Great pedal, but watch your legs around them.
Wanted a large pedal that my foot wouldn't slip off of, and landed on these. These are some of the best. Have had these a year now and my only complaint is I have drawn blood several times by walking my bike and not being pedal aware. These babies are sharp and will sink into your calf deep. All my fault, not the pedal. In the most extreme riding, my foot has never slipped even a little on these pedals. Bearings are great, no complaints. As for weight, yeah they are heavy, but that's what comes with being big and made of metal, you're not counting grams on mountain bike anyway.🙄 You want light, go with some plastic pedals. The pictures I have are after a years worth of riding, catching a few rocks, and hard, and they are still doing great. Take a look at those studs, like I said, watch your legs when walking your bike. Overall, I give these a 5 star, I have been very happy with them.

They look good and feel good.
They look good and the grip is awesome. They are a larger pedal than what I'm used to but I wanted a slightly larger platform for some added comfort and control. The pins are really long which makes them grip really well but I have a feeling they're going to tear up my shoes. I will likely l dial them back a bit and use some thread locker to keep them in place. I looked at many other brands but no one seemed to have the pin placement I wanted, in the color I wanted, and not cost an arm and a leg. Other even more expensive brands were on the table, I just didn't see the cost/benefit over OneUp. I love their carbon bars so OneUp for my pedals it is. I give them 5 stars because I can only judge them based on their weight at this point. The durability and value for money will take time to flush out.
