I really wanted this to work and was so excited when it was delivered. Packaging was high quality, further reassuring me this was a good quality product. The 1st and 2nd espresso were delicious! The 3rd espresso (2 hours later), the grounds would not drop. I cleaned the grinder exactly as instructed, replaced all parts and it still would not drop the grounds. I took everything apart again and put back together 3 more times before it FINALLY dropped grounds. The grinder continued to preform poorly with ground coarseness consistency and amount of grounds dispersed. Clearly I got a defective machine, or the grinder is actually a piece of junk. I wanted a replacement to see if it was just a defective item I received, but there was no replacement option, only refund. So I’ll never know if I just so happened to receive a defective machine or if they’re are all junk.UPDATE: I changed this from 1 star to 5. The seller reached out to me and offered to send me a replacement - which is what I was hoping for initially. They have the most awesome customer service!! This product is solid, and of good quality and easy to use. I am VERY pleased with the replacement, after initially receiving a defective item.

UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS:This machine has been, and still is, fantastic. I use it every day. As long as you clean it every couple of months, it operates perfectly. All of the issues I’ve had with it have been easily resolved with just a tiny bit of problem solving skills. This thing is great. The only complaint I have is that the manual was hard to understand but outside of that, fantastic machine!!Original Review (Aug 2022): I’ve only had this machine for a few weeks, and I do want to add the disclaimer that I got it at a significant discount (there was a promotion to purchase for a low price when it was first added to Amazon so the product could rack up reviews), but I have to say I really do like the machine so far.The instructions are confusing, yes. But once you read through them a few times and figure out how everything works, it’s a breeze.I’ve always loved espresso and cappuccinos, and I have no experience whatsoever with brewing espresso myself. But after two quick YouTube tutorials, I feel like I figured it out pretty well and the machine is simple to use and clean.The machine works very well, is a nice addition to my countertop due to its sleek design, and produces a pretty high-quality product. Even though I got this on sale, I would consider the retail cost to be on par with the quality of the product you receive (I could just never justify spending a few hundred bucks on a coffee machine lol!)Overall, I think this is a great little espresso machine. Not too big, refined and sleek design, seems to be very well-built, and produces what seems to me, as a pretty high quality, home-brewed espresso.If anything of concern comes up, I’ll be sure to update my review. But the machine does come with a one-year warranty so if there is an issue I’ll be sure to update my review with the customer service experience as well.Very happy with this purchase!!!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product and initially placed a bag's worth of espresso into the bean hopper - filling up the hopper on two separate occasions. I didn't have any issues with that whole bag of espresso beans. Then I refilled the hopper with another partial bag of espresso beans and after about two different grinds, or two espresso shots, it started to cease dropping ground espresso beans from the hopper. I cleaned out the hopper like the manual instructs you to do but to no avail. Mueller customer service which was really nice and helpful did send me another espresso machine. As soon as I placed the espresso beans into the NEW espresso machine ( All this consisted of was me placing the hopper onto the espresso machine and then pouring the beans into the hopper) I attempted to perform a single grind of espresso. The new espresso machine began to grind the coffee and yielded around 7 grams of espresso. I thought "yes, it's working!" and then I selected the single grind one more time because I was using a double shot filter. When I selected the single grind again the new espresso machine started giving me the same issues as the defective espresso machine previously - the coffee would no longer drop from the grinder into the portafilter. So after one single grind of espresso from the new machine it has started doing the exact same thing as the previous one. I'm trying to decide whether to even bother contacting customer support for a new one or just asking for my money back. Like a lot of people I purchased this espresso machine through a deal from instagram user mik.zenon. I tried to upload two videos but it would only let me upload one. The video uploaded is the replacement machine Mueller sent me after the grinder stopped working on the first machine. This video shows what happened after I performed one successful grind using the replacement espresso machine.

I’ve been using this machine for about a month now. It. Is. Perfect. Looks sleek and modern, this is super easy to use and makes amazing espresso. I have had ZERO issue with the grinder, but that may in large have to do with the fact that I measure my beans and only grind that amount. I recommend watching videos on TikTok on how to dial in your beans and general how to make espresso, and you’ll be making Starbucks quality drinks in no time. I chose this machine over the Breville as it comes with a bottomless portafilter basket, in BOTH double and single shots. All in all, the only thing I wish, is that I would have bought this sooner. 10/10 price and value

In my first review I wrote that I couldn’t unclog the bean grinder, but read the manual and fixed the issue. The problem I have with this machine is the steam wind isn’t strong enough for my liking and the espresso isn’t hot enough. What I do to negate this issue, is to run hot water thru the portifilter first and then I pull my shot. So, far it’s an good espresso machine.
