New Catcher's & Fielder's Inner-Glove/Wrist, Upper Palm, Thumb & Fingers Padded Shock Absorbing Cushions

Regardless the position you play in baseball or softball, this is the best inner glove you can use during play. It not only protects your thumb and palm but your wrist as well. I have been using this type of glove for years and feel it a needed item in my arsenal.

This glove works great. The padding is in all the right places. I have a small pad that just goes over the two fingers and palm, but had a hard time keeping it in place inside my catchers mitt. The glove with the pads makes all the difference as everything stays in place.I use this for catching my son (high school pitcher) and it really makes a difference, would highly recommend for all catchers.

Excellent protective glove. Gives extra cushioning from hard hit balls. Ideally having the cushioning pad at wrist extend all the way into palm would be a nice next step for this company.

Full disclosure: I'm a middle-aged man who plays first base in a coed softball beer league. So not exactly an athlete. Still, I take hard throws at first from my younger, strappier infielders, and sometimes they hurt my hand, even when I wore a batting glove underneath my mitt. But when I found this product, that all disappeared. Now it's like having two sticks of butter in your mitt to cushion the blow, and I no longer get the ouchies. Plus, it fits snugly in my mitt, not too bulky or too thin. I don't know if this is the absolute best fielder's glove out there, since it's the first one I tried, but I do know that it works for me.

Have bought this glove in the past, adult small. Bought a new one, same size, and it is an inch longer in the fingers. This oneWon't fit my daughter but her old one fits perfect just getting worn out. Would like a youth large to try but that size is not available.

It's a great idea, but was not for my liking. Once I put these on, I felt like I lost feel and touch and ability to close my mitt easily. I play first base with a first base mitt (a new one) in adult rec slow pitch softball. I wanted something for extra padding in these fingers, and the wrist pad was a big bonus as I have a lot of wrist injuries I wanted to protect. Some of these dudes hit and throw so hard it bruises my hand, but the feeling of the extra pad was not for my liking. Great idea overall though.
