Same Enzymes As RX enzymes for my Dog
Our dog has had digestive issues with his pancreas since he was two; he is now seven. After expensive testing our vet put him on a RX Only Brand of these enzymes Amylase, Protease & Lipase and the price for that RX brand has quadrupled since he first started taking these enzymes. So wanting to keep our little buddy healthy and we were needing to find something with the same enzymes that was more affordable, I found these & saw they have the very same enzymes as the RX ones do. I know that our pets can take various human medications but just to be certain I called our veterinarian clinic and told them what the name of this product was and they looked it up and our VET said YES that our dog could take this Pancreatin! The price of these same enzymes is just a fraction of the cost for 100 pills of the RX ones! It’s the same enzymes from porcine; same amount of pills (100) and SO FAR SO GOOD! The only difference is the RX ones are a tablet and these Pancreatin are capsules but that’s not a problem with our dog we just wrap it in a tiny piece of sliced meat or cheese & he’s a happy doggie! So glad I found these!

Good product
I have only used this once so far, but it worked. I feel the best I have felt in a while. We will see how it works moving forward, but I am super impressed. I used it with psyllium husk powder.

Works well for Pancreatitis and a related stinky situation *
A very severe pancreatitis attack took me by surprise last year and while I made it through, my pancreas can only make limited amounts of digestive enzymes and insulin. The doctor estimated that 2/3 of my pancreas is dead. Glucose levels are easy enough to check and manage with prescription insulin but there is no easy way to test enzyme function without a fecal lab test. However, if your enzyme production is low enough you will have problems with malabsorption which, in the case of low pancreatic enzyme production, means that your body has a problem digesting proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. If bad enough, you can easily determine this from the comfort of your own home!If it's as bad as mine was, there are things that will clue you in:1 - Check that %&#$ out! If it's pale and mostly floats, or if there is a greasy film floating on the water (particularly after a high-fat meal) then you likely have some malabsorption going on.2 - Give it the whiff test! If doing your business in the bathroom is on the verge of leaving you in tears, you likely have some very serious malabsorption going on! I mean, there is "stinky" and there is "burn your eyes and nostrils stinky". That %&#$ isn't normal, believe me.Out of desperation and fear of losing consciousness and being found like Elvis, I figured I should at least try one of these enzyme supplements after reading that many (including this brand) contain the same three enzymes your pancreas creates to aid in digesting proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Capsules like these get their enzymes from pig pancreas, which is pretty much identical to ours who are higher up on the food chain. This one had quite a number of reviews and an overall good score.Since certain foods can make your output more odoriferous than others, I've done quite a bit of testing - high carbs with or without the enzymes, high fat with or without the enzymes, things like that. I can honestly tell you that these enzymes are most definitely doing something. It does take a couple days of taking these with every meal to notice a difference (and oh boy, is there a difference!) but there is no doubt that they work. The proof is (well, was) in the toilet and with a noticeable absence of a burning sensation in the ol' olfactory. Oh, and not only do they not look so pale and sickly, they don't tend to float as much either. If you are experiencing symptoms like I've described, give this stuff a try. It really does work. I %&#$ you not. After a couple days you'll be walking around like your %&#$ doesn't stink, and you know why? Because compared to before, it really doesn't.*Yes. This is a real and honest review.

Not sure
I took this for a day and had a gallstone attack. I ended up at the doctor for pain. I had gallstones before this, but one day of using them could have been coincidental; my pancreatitis began acting up. I'm getting surgery to remove gall bladder to avoid all of this. I don't know how well this product does or doesn't work.
