Really impressed with these channels, clean machining, nice plastic, easy to assemble, light weight, able to use 3m two-sided tape to mount, hod great. Good straightened extrusions, well fitting diffusers with peel off installation scratch protector, well fitting end caps. The included metal mounting clips work much better for me than the plastic ones offered elsewhere. The included screws and plaster anchors.round out a complete kit. I put 1 strip across the ceiling at the door edge and another across the bottom of the shelf the closets are more than 1m wide so I used an elongated mounting clip at the joint to keep the channels aligned. The screws for use with the anchors are longer than desirable for the wood shelf, but the ones that came with the extensions were a good length. since I used 2 sets of 2 ordinary clips and 1 extension clip for each closet, 1 set into plaster and 1 set into wood, the screw use happened to match the provided screws, I cut the extrusions using a 10" sliding compound mitre saw with a non-ferrous metal blade. I assemble the diffuser into the extrusion and wrap it with one turn of painter's tape or masking tape straddling the cut line . The tape provides a markable, removable surface and controls the tendency for the plastic to vibrate and chip. I use the saw as a chop saw, descending slowly into the work diffuser side up. The resulting cut line doesn't need the extensive clean up that would be needed if a wood blade is used. Neither a simple hack saw, back saw (mitre box), or carpenters saw will make a clean cut. If you happen to have an ingersol air powered (auto) body saw with a fine blade it will make a serviceable cut requiring minor cleanup with minimal effort, but a harbor freight air body saw has more blade wobble and will shatter the diffuser. I cut the LED strip and remove just enough of the silicone to access the solder pads and solder LED wire EvZ 20m 66ft 20awg Extension Cable Wire Cord for Led Strips Single Colour 3528 5050 directly onto the strip. but there are solderless connectors offered on Amazon.if you don't wish to solder.

I used these diffusers in two cabinet light installations. The channels are easy to cut. I used a grinder but a hack saw, circular saw, or chop saw would work well too. On one of the installations, I used double sided adhesive tape to secure the channels under the cabinets and used about a 1" piece about every 6 inches and that was plenty to secure the channels. On the second installation, I used the clips that were included with channels, and those were even better.

Really like these for mounting led lights. Like this one better than some competitors. The competitors seen the same, except much shorter. The plastic covers really help make the led strips seem like a strip of light as opposed to a line of LEDs

Got these for the thickness. the nice thin size meant it was easy to route a channel into 3/4 material. Ended up doing a full under cabinet set up with these and illuminated a custom kitchen hood as well. I will keep my reviews 5 Stars, but I wish they had more and higher quality tiny screws for the clips. I had just enough to do what I needed to so you will likely need to buy more if you are using anywhere near the 30ft of channel.
