Q: Will this work in an indoor aloe plant if not what do you suggest?? Thank you

I think it would be great for an aloe. My desert rose is an indoor plant and loves it.

Q: Do i mix this with soil or use it as is for succulents? from the pictures it just looks like gravel. sorry i have no experience so i'd like to know.

I think it depends upon the plant itself. I use it mostly mixed in with potting soil for plants that like light, fast draining soil. Depending upon the plant, I use 50 / 50 or 3 to 1 mixture. Don't really raise succulents except Jade plants & I use 50/50 with them. My cacti are all outside in the ground and they seem to grow in anything here in California.

Q: Does anyone have any experience of this vs bonsai Jack? Any recommendations between the two?

I use this and Bonsai Jack. BJ is super fast draining and dries fast. I have to water more often. This doesn’t dry out as fast but isn’t too wet either. Roots seem to adhere better to this than BJ

Q: Is this no longer in the handy, upright, and resealable bag?

The 1.25qt and 2.5qt size is. The 6qt and 12qt are not.
