It's a replacement garbage disposal splash guard. Does it work? Yes it definitely does. We had one that was god knows how old in our sink. It was friggin filthy. No matter how much I tried to scrub and clean it, I swear it had bacteria living in the actual rubber. Oh and it smelled horrendous. I keep the disposal clean with weekly scrubbing and some orange oil essence, but the old splash guard just wasn't having it. This new unit fit like a glove and popped right in without issue. It weighs next to nothing, but the splash guard is worlds better than the old unit. I already put orange peels down the garbage disposal for testing and it very much kept any splashed water or debris from coming out at me. Unlike the old unit, which basically was a glorified fountain of ish when I turned on the garbage disposal. I was also able to remove the splash guard, just as easily as I put it in. Also, this is a great price for the splash guard(s). Being that you get 2 of them for $10, it's a fantastic deal. Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace Hardware all have their own versions of the same item, but cost at minimum double what you pay for this one. And they sell theirs in a single pack. Not the double pack that you get with this one. Definitely one of my favorite purchases this year. No more smelly garbage disposal. Extremely happy with this purchase! It fit our sink perfectly, really cleaned up the look of our sink, and the construction is very durable. I didn’t realize how horrible the old one really looked until I replaced it with this one! Mind blowing! Ha

I purchased the 3 3/8" Replacement Garbage Disposal Splash Guards Sink Baffle to fit my discontinued Sinkerator garbage disposal, and it fits perfectly. Even though the original baffle had two extra holes, this one works great with no issues of water backup. I notice no difference in the noise level with the replacement baffle than the original part. I appreciated that two splash guards came in the order—it’s handy to have one in use while the other is cleaning in the dishwasher. This really helps reduce the slime buildup that often collects on the underside of the baffle. Overall, a useful and practical replacement!

I've had these for a few months now and they've held up better than the standard ones you see in sinks. Pop in and out easily, fit most sinks, easy to remove and clean. They may get grimy faster because there's more surface area, but I always clean my sinks pretty frequently. I would say these may not be the best, but they're above average and do a better job of containing garbage disposal splashing. Again, it's not going to stay clean on it's own, you'll have to pull them out and scrub them. They're better than the normal ones if you clean them regularly. If you're never going to take them out and clean them, it will look dirtier than the normal ones and you might not like that. For me, they function exactly as they're supposed to and I'm not disapointed at all. Also I run them through the dishwasher occasionally and they hold up. Honest review, solid 8/10, good buy

We bought a home with a Badger 5 that sounded like a Russian Tank. I started looking at these removable baffles after my plumber advised me to find one that fit, cut out the fixed baffle with a utility knife, and plug this type in. That idea worked really well. This baffle fits the aperture snugly and reduces the noise by about 40%, to what you would expect from a normal disposal. Its nice to be able to remove it for cleaning too. The old baffle was covered with a geasy, slimy life form. Saved me from replacing the disposal. A utility knife cut out the old baffle cleanly.

Wish there was an English word for the joy or satisfaction of replacing basic everyday items. Fit as expected and looks way better than previous one. Quality buy.

Replacement for a different model with same dimensions. Fit perfectly. Stays in place well but pulls out with a good tuck if necessary. New design noticably reduces disposal sound but note that sink drains a bit slower due to extra baffling. This is NOT a showstopper! "Patience is a virtue."
