Just right!

Giving this 3 stars as the product worked in the end but required some modification. In my case I own a D-Link DGS-1024D which is listed here as compatible. However it seems like D-Link may have released a number of revisions over the years that could have changed dimensions? Where this comes into play regarding these rack ears is I initially started with the Medium size (mostly by accident mis-reading the somewhat confusing compatibility image) which was way too short to fit a standard 19" rack. Returned and got the large size instead. Found it was then too large/wide to fit by about a half inch. The only adjustability on the rack fitment itself comes in the slightly widened mounting holes but it really gives very little wiggle room. Since there was no middle option between medium and large, I just drilled new holes on one ear to make it fit. Thankfully the metal is cheap enough I was able to drill them out in a couple minutes with a basic Ryobi drill and cheap bit set. I'm sure other folks with different switch models will likely be more lucky and these will just work with no hassle. Just be prepared in case yours falls through the fitment gaps with the different sized rack ears from this company.

I used it to mount cisco Ethernet switch. The issues i had was the Ethernet switch has 4 screw holes on each side to mount the ear mounts and only 2 screw holes are matching so can only use 2 scews to mount these ear mounts to my Ethernet switch. The material quality is good and even with 2 screws it provides good support to mount it in the server rack.

Perfection!!! So happy right now. Fits a Lexicon DD-8 AMP like it was made for it. I have 3 amps that need to be rack mounted and had no way to get them from Lexicon. So Amazon saved the day with having this. I will have in my cart for next time. Great fit. Strong. Nice finish. 10 stars.

The product seems solid enough, the problem is the wide seating. This was bought to mount in a 18u SYSRACK. The mount kit are too wide for the rail openings (see attached picture). All that would be needed is for the mounting holes to be wider. Not worth the trouble to send these back. Need to find a friend with a drill press and expand the opening to the left (as in the picture shown). The other side is flush and can be mounted normally but this opposite side is over extended to be able to fit and be mounted. *Note - this was used for a Ubiquity switch with the width mentioned in the headline of this review. I hope this help.

I love these are just brilliant

Pretty well thought out kit in terms of how the screwholes are laid out that should give you the capability to mount most switches into a rack if the horizontal dimensions are right so long as you don't mind if it sits a little proud or inside the rack. I fitted them to a Xikestor Chinese POE switch and just... And I mean... JUST... managed to fenangle it into a 10" rack.... But that's not a fault of the kit, that's just the way it is. Decent selection of screws with different threads. Can't complain really
