FlashLogic FLRSBZ3 Mercedes Benz Remote Starter Module 2008-2014

Just had it installed for 2012 Mercedes E350 w212, works great. Had no issue, but needs to been done by a dealer who install Car Starter because unit needs to be programmed before it is able to work properly. If you're gonna by find a professional that is able to installed this unit or will not work. Does not need a remote or have a remote with this unit only needs the Key from the car to start and stop the vehicle. Plus does not need an extra key to have installed, just simply the unit and having it programmed.. will work on as many keys you have own for the vehicle and does not need to be programmed just only the unit itself once installed properly will work with the key from the vehicle...great unit. Plus if add additional drone mobile will be able to work from your mobile phone at anywhere location without getting close to vehicle to start from your key. If you're concerned the distance it's not far same distance if you were to lock and unlocked your vehicle with the key. So if you needed further range, will need to add an additional drone mobile unit which is only any $125-$150 depending where you purchase. And from there you have no worries if your car will start or not, because your phone will indicate when your car starts. I purchased this for my 2014 GLK, and it simply does not work. I called technical support, and they told me it requires a manual start in order to unlock 2 remote starts. After your 2 remote starts are spent, you have to manually start it again. Well, I think requiring a manual start defeats the purpose of a remote start, and I was not aware of this fact before purchasing. Furthermore, the system seems to "forget" my manual start after some time. For instance, if I manually start the car one day, leave it parked at home overnight, and try to remote start it in the morning, it doesn't work. Do not purchase this for a 2014 GLK, and be wary about other years/models
