Perfect Watch for non watch wearers
I am well accustomed to looking at my cell phone for all things, including time. That said, it’s not always appropriate.I needed this watch because I am a reader at Mass, our Priest likes to be very punctual on time, and as you can imagine, it’s not cool having phone alarms going off during Mass. The time is incredibly accurate, it looks stylish enough to not be a detrimental, nor is it too flashy that it draws attention. Perfectly neutral. Also, the numbers are large enough, and the backlight does work in dark situations. And the cost is exceptional.Just set it one time and you’re done. I only wear it when I need to, but it’s not uncomfortable to wear.If I wore the watch all the time, I would get a elastic band for taking on and off to be easier, but since it’s an occasional thing, the band is perfectly fine.

Casio value and function best in watches.
This is a really great watch. It is a good size at 41 mm, shows hour, minutes, and seconds. It also shows day and date, and is programmed to change from 31 to 30 days depending upon the month and February is set for 28 days, so only leap year would have to be set manually. It also has a stop watch with 100th’s of a second and records up to a 60 minutes before you have to reset. It is very easy to program, has a 7 year lithium battery and best of all costs $17. You have to take care not to beat the face up. It scratches easily. I just wear a beater watch or none at all if I know I will be doing something that could easily scratch it. So lightweight and the band is very comfortable and easy to clean with soap and water. Inexpensive, accurate, comfortable, and nice looking, all at a really great price. You can’t beat Casio for this type of watch.

It's perfect.
If you're considering buying this, JUST BUY IT. It's fantastically affordable. The design is fantastic. Very legible large numbers. Oh, and at least on the blue one, the light somehow illuminates the numbers while leaving the background dark, so that in the dark it looks like a glowing negative display. I don't know of any other Casio that has this effect. It looks absolutely brilliant. It's extremely light and the minimalist design makes it sleek. I somehow like this more than I do my G-shock 5610u, which is saying a lot considering how much I love that.

Good first watch
Never wore watches before. This has a built in stopwatch/timer i wanted for work. It’s big enough to fit just right in my wrist without slipping around, or cutting circulation. the thickness is about the same as a applewatch with a case on. This specific color way is sleek but elegant, especially for $20. I understand why people cherish Casio so much now. The value is there!

The F91W Grew Up.
Glad I heard about this watch. My F91W is a good little watch-- great value for its price-- & justifiably a classic from Casio, the undisputed king of digital watches. But the F91W is smal-- more like a boy's watch-- with a truly sorry light & the bare minimum of water resistance. Couple bucks more (truly) gets you this watch, which is grownup size but not oversized & has actually useful water resistance & great illumination. Same functions as the F91W, which means what you need in a basic watch without a bunch of silly James Bond crap you'll probably never use. Another improvement is greatly improved legibility. Actually the most legible digital I have. The one drawback is the strap. It's smooth & a bit long for my taste. This keeps the single keeper from holding it perfectly flat, but there is no reason you couldn't clip a half-inch or so off of it. Certainly no kind of a dealbreaker in an awesome daily-wear watch that cost me less than $20. Definitely can recommend.

Backstory: I’ve been wearing an Apple Watch for the past 4 years, 24 hours a day. I recently decided that I wanted to unplug a bit, I got tired of my wrist blowing up from group texts, and having to charge the thing every single day.Research: I can say with confidence that I did more research on Casio watches than I’ve ever done on something I planned to spend $20 on. I watched TONS of YouTube videos, and I ended up buying this.I looked in to the f91w and I almost bought that. It’s classic, I loved the look but the one thing some people complained about was the small size. I looked at all of the photos in the reviews and it was always so hard to get perspective, because you never know who’s wearing the watch.I didn’t want some enormous G shock, and I didn’t want something that would look like a child’s watch. After receiving this, all I can say is that it looks like what I thought the f91w was going to look like from a size perspective.Search the f91w on Amazon and you’ll see that it’s a best seller in the womens watches category. All I can say is that if you are an adult male, I can’t imagine a world where this would be too big of a watch for you.I’m 6’0, 195lbs, but my wrists are 7 inches or a bit larger. Even my pictures are a bit deceiving, this watch looks and feels smaller in person than it does in any picture or video you’re going to find on it.Unless you really want a SMALL watch, this should fit any man and probably most women just fine. I can’t even imagine how small the f91w is on the wrist.About the watch: man this thing is just what I hoped it would be. It tells and keeps time great so far, you can see the screen from pretty much every conceivable angle, it’s paper light, and it it looks good.I watched a YouTube video that talked about the black and gold looking more like an adults watch rather than a toy. I love the retro look of the black and blue trim version, but I believe the reviewer was correct, and I’m glad I got this one. From any distance it’s pretty inconspicuous and looks almost like a smart watch. Up close it gives a classic retro vibe. It’s a $15 watch, but that’s the appeal. If it breaks in a year, I’ll throw it away and buy a new one without a single regret.Final note: The backlight on this is fantastic, which was another reason I bought it over a lot of the other similar Casios. The one on the f91w seems pretty terrible.
