Tomer Kosher Beef Sticks, 100% USA Beef, MSG, Gluten, and Soy Free, No Nitrates Added, (Variety Sampler, 10-Count, .9 oz Jerky Stick)

We promised ourselves we'd switch to completely Kosher for this new year (5780) and started slowly a few months before. We are also on the Ketogenic Diet for health reasons (Epilepsy for me, Pre-Diabetes and Inflammation causing pain for the mister) so keeping Kosher and Keto can prove to be problematic - especially as we live in the middle of nowhere. Beef Sticks are an important part of our daily lives as they are quick sources of protein without the sugars and sometimes are some of the only meat we are having each day, but finding reasonably priced Kosher ones was starting to get hard. Suddenly, my husband stumbled upon these last week and ordered them right away. So glad he did!First off, LOVE the packaging. Very colorful, informative, and sturdy. Didn't have any issues with any of the actual beef sticks packaged (at least not so far that we've seen). The taste, though, was out of this world! No fat, no bone pieces, no gristle, no weird tastes, nothing. Just glorious, lean, delicious beef in a stick. All thanks to the strict standards for observing Kashrut. Perfect! If you eat meat and love beef sticks, even if you aren't keeping Kosher I highly recommend you try these! Love all the flavors we've tried so far. :)

I got these for my husband because he's a Slim Jim addict and I thought he might like to try something different. He's tried all of the flavors in the variety sampler and he likes them all. His order of preference is:Jalapeno - he says they made him sweat which makes him happy (This is the same guy who orders hot Indian food.)Cajun - has a nice little zip, but not overbearingly hot. I was able to tolerate it with no issue and I'm a wussHot - a nice zip, but I could tolerate it with no issue.Peppered - good flavor, not spicy at allOriginal - good flavorThe sampler is great if you're not sure what someone will like. Now that I know his preferences, I can order his favorites. The product was nicely packaged and tasted fresh. Even the sticks themselves were pretty easy to open. In all, it was a good purchase and I will buy these again.

Overall, this sticks are good. Full of flavors and a good serving size. So far the flavors that I tried were Cajun, Jalepeno and Hot. The only one that I didnt like was the Cajun one. It didnt have much flavor. The other 2, those had good flavor. The other flaw that bugged me was the fact that the sticks were too moist. I thought that it would be a bit more dry. Oh well. I guess I have to dry them with a hair dryer myself.......just kidding. I'm not actually going to do that, but what I do is leave it in my car when I am at work and hope it dries out a bit in the heat in my car. That works decently well.

I was looking for a quick low carb snack that I could grab when I needed something. I had been getting some nitrate free sausage sticks from Costco, but I liked that these were individually wrapped. Biggest thing was being nitrate free, which these obviously are. What these are not is a snappy slim Jim. The casing on these is very soft, which was disappointing when I took my first bite. I didn’t read the description, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I ended up putting the box in the refrigerator which gives it a little more firmness, and I think makes them taste better. The first original flavor I tried was also disappointing because it’s not what I was expecting. After eating these for a few days, my taste buds became accustomed to them and it’s all good now. There has been a coupon on this listing each time I’ve come back to the page and I’m about to order my third box!

Ordered first box in October and they were amazing! Some if the best beef sticks I've had and a solid calorie count per stick as I was looking for easily accountable calories during a diet.Ordered 2nd box on Nov 14th as I was out. I've been eating them and this second box wasnt as good and they were noticeably less flavorful and colorful. I didnt think much of it and thought it was just me but someone else just tried one of them and also noticed a dip in quality (without me having mentioned it before) so they looked at the wrapper and sure enough, this batch had expired on Nov 6th-12th (depending on flavor). I order these and they were delivered AFTER they expired and I ate over half of them.Moral of the story: Great product but concerning quality control. That's why 3 stars.

First, I had doubts regarding their kashrus certification so I emailed the company. Within a few hours I received a response containing a certificate that included the mashgiach's contact information and were able to ask some important questions.Second, they are actually pretty good! So much so, that we just ordered another box along with an order of the jerky strips.Third, they are larger than expected. 0.9 ounces turned out to be around 0.5 inches thick and around 8 inches long.Finally, the only negative aspect is that we cannot enjoy them on Shabbos because when opening they tend to tear the paper label which can tear words/letters.Other than that, I highly recommend.

I love beef jerky and have tried many kinds of beef sticks,jerky and even non-beef jerky and I must say I enjoyed these.1.They are Kosher so i'm not worried about everything that could be inside or how unclean they might be.2.The flavor variety was very nice and spicy enough for me. (loved the flavor of Jalapeno and Cajun)3. I normally like my jerky dry but these had a nice tenderness to them that didn't gross me out like some other jerky I have had where it was super wet and not enjoyable.I Enjoyed these so much i'm buying again and will be buying them again as a Christmas gift for a friend.
